First time growers do one or more of the following:
You probably are overwatering. Every 3 days gives the plant a chance to make it's roots grow deep looking for water.
You might start feeding too early. Seedlings need food after about 12 days. They have enough to grow on before that. Feeding early can make them burn early.
Once a week is enough to feed them unless you start noticing deficiencies. Read up on some guides that tell you the ppm or the amount to use. If the tips are browning, stop feeding.
You don't have a hermie. (if you are one of the 1000 who actually does, sorry)
Size matters. Try to transplant as little as possible, because it causes stress, but the bigger the pot, the bigger the root system can grow, the bigger the plant can get.
If you've never grown before, don't start with a $5000 grow room. Do a bagseed or auto strain grow first to learn where you're gonna fuck up, cuz you will.
Photo plants have the possibility of growing twice the size when they go into flower. Plan accordingly.
Weird spots? Check the stickies first. And don't get pissed if someone doesn't respond real quick to your post. Sometimes we don't know wtf is wrong with your plants.
Have a problem? Get a camera. Pics are the only way you are gonna get decent answers.
You can't cover the smell from your mom.
And the rep button is the little star on the poster's bottom button. If someone helps you help them out. Then they'll probably follow up on ya.
There's probably other stuff but that'll cover a lot of it.
