Quit Smoking Cigarettes

after 40 yrs of smoking like a grass fire i will attempt accupuncture. ive tried everything from the patch to snapping a rubber band on my wrist whenever i think a bout a cig. as soon as this can of american spirit is gone

life without wheezing is great, i use to lay in bed and i could hear myself breath, my wife use to call me wheezer. i'd wake up in the middle of the night coughing and hacking and once i caught my breath i'd light one up. what a dummy i was
 
5 days without nicotine the withdrawl seems to be letting up a bit but i still really want a smoke i just hope the cravings eventually go away

hey that's a great start! i quit march 10, 2007 which was over three years ago and i feel awesome and am so proud of myself for doing it. i quit cold turkey...it's very hard at first and i had the cravings for a few weeks but it gets better. keep at it..you will be glad you did. :)

something else that's pretty cool is that the vent filters in the house aren't near as dirty saving time and money not having to change them as often.
 
Been 7 days here,
I did smoke one when my suv broke down on the highway when it was 102'
I was honesty about to loose all control an beat the shit out of my car with a crowbar, an that cig stoped me.
Still dont know how im going to water my 15+ plant outside in the country, my wifes car wont make it to these spots.

But ive been back on the wagon for 3 1/2 days. 2 steps forward one back......................
 
mmmmmmm i smoking a tasty Marlboro red 100 right now. I can feel the nicotine surge through my body and give me super powers. The feeling of the cig in between my fingers, and the smoke hovering around me.
I look so cool, like a camel with a leather jacket or some type of badass cowboy maybe.

thanks for continuing to support everyone Kevin i know i appreciate it between you guys and my wife i got a few people i feel like ill be letting down if i light up again which helps one more reason not to

good job on sticking with it Scarhole even if you had 1 your still doing great i hope you can make it out to water your girls

100's are sick lol i hope that was ment to be funny Cyproz cause it made me laugh
 
I quit a 2 pack a day 22 year habit using those mints called Commit Lozenges. My 3rd day i left for Vegas and partied hard, those commits did a great job. I had tried to quit 2 times before that cold turkey, even made it 3 months without a cig once. I haven't smoked for 3 and 1/2 years now. I still want to smoke, but its all psychological now. I can go to bars and even hang out with my family who ALL smoke except my grandma.

almost 2 weeks in seems the withdrawl is gone but the cravings are still strong iv probably gained at least 10lbs too lol i can breath a bit better and can smell/taste things so much better which isnt that great >.<
 
I failed and am smoking again, 4-5 a day

When my truck broke down an i ran out of weed it was to much stress.

I need to try again around harvest time.
