Qustion on new grow prospect

My ex-roommate, we'll call him bob, has a 215 card and has one small grow room in his house. He has told me that I would be able to construct a grow room in my house, using his 215 card, and be totally legal under the nice eyes of the law. Now Bob can be kinda squeally sometimes, so as he told me this my eyebrows raised immediately. Can this be true? Can I grow pot in my closet, for him, and not get in trouble should the fuzz pay me a visit.

By the way, awesome site with lots of info. Spent about two hours last nigth just searching through and learning.

if you care for someone you are their caregiver. caregivers are allowed to grow and supply patients but CAN NOT smoke. in order to be a caregiver you must care for someone. this inludes housing, food, clothing....... if your bedridden grandmother had a 215 card and you took care of her you could be considered her caregiver. if a patient grows for themselves they don't need a caregiver. if your buddy got a card you aren't his caregiver. good luck

That's not entirely true. As far as I know, your caregiver can be anyone that you think grows the best MJ. I think the requirement has to be that you are unable to for some reason. That reason could be as small "I suck at growing."

what Bob told me. Problem is this rules differ with each county, so it's kinda hard to look this up. Anyone who has successfully researched this please let me know, I really don't want to get into a situation like this and find it to be a felony.

I know that here in canada you can grow legally in you get permission grom someone who has an mm card. We can even send it in the mail to them and that is all that is required except that you fill out the appropriate forms.

It doesn't require any other assistance. Just grow and send them the medical marijuana.
I was considering doing it this way but like Fdd says, it doesn't make you legal to grow and smoke for yourself.
I have a friend who has a sister-in-law that has an mm card and lives in Newfoundland. The have mm cards there but cannot grow their own BUT I would rather not draw ayyention to myself until I first get MY permit or mm card.

I wouldn't risk taking someone else's health card to grow your own buds. Not only is it risky for you but it gets the people who went through all their hard work to obtain one because of their various illnesses, look bad also. (or at least adds to the gov't being more skeptical of people using mm cards)
