qwiso hash powder won't melt

Hi, guys! Apologies in advance as i am sure this has been asked before but i will be darned if i can find a specific answer anywhere. Ok, here goes, Why is my product so powdery when it dries? I know its supposed to be, somewhat, but what i come up with is a substance so dry that is does nothing but stay a powder. I have put it in the oven, double boiled it and put straight flame to it and it never melts. Some people complain about theres being too sticky, mines waaay dry. Am i possibly not heating long enough to get it to soften and ball up? Any help is appreciated. ty, lynn

Let's see....cold ISO, cold trim, put in container for about 30 or 40sec. Shake it a few times.pour it onto a strainer on top of two other strainers with a coffe filter between. Pull my top strainer with the trim in it almost immeadiately. Let the liquid filter into a pan. Then I set it in front of a big commercial fan and let it evaporate completely. Scrape it up and it's a real nice yellowish color, real powdery. I tried putting it in the oven for like 30 minutes on 200deg......nothing happened, except the house smelled like pot. I double boiled it and all it did was smoke. I use visionware pans and I have even put it on the heat direct. Idk what else to do, thank you

My slightly educated guess is by sandwiching tge coffee filter inbetween strainers some got past filter. Try using a mason jar and doing soak in one jar the dumping thru just strainer into another mason jar. Then put filter right on the jar with solution in it and filter into your dish

I'm sorry, I'm not exactly sure which "some" you mean. There is no solid plant matter and the powder is a nice yellow color. I will take a picture and post if I can. Thank you, again.

That's because isopropyl makes fake dab. One big wives tale that never pays out. Always convincing yourself that's bomb.

Thanks a lot for all the help. It was dissolved salt in the 70% iso that was used. A fact I was unaware of, I apologize. Seems the iso we used had been "salted out". Not very well, either.
