When i harvest in a few weeks i want to make hash and it will be my first time, and i need an easy way with limited resources but still makes good shit and i saw this QWISO way and was wondering if its any good, and wouldnt the alcohol contaminate the trichombs or something, idk, any suggestions or other methods would be cool to, but i like the QWISO way it seems easy!!

Thank you sooo much, ily, but a few questions, can i find those mesh bags in any stores, and how many do i need and what micron so i can get the most possibel out of all my trim????

you can make iso hash or butuane hash oil
ISO hash from trim is pretty good and not hard to make either, and yes you always reserve the option to do a butane extraction but that also needs more of an investment. I've fiddled with ISO hash quite often and found that this procedure works well, it just takes time.
1. Grind/Chop up your trim to a fine powder. The more surface area coming into contact with the ISO, the more trichomes you are absorbing.
2. Place your powder in a metal container/pot/pan and pour 91 or 99% ISO into the pan.
3. Let the ISO sit in the ganja for no longer than a minute. Any longer and you're absorbing chlorophyll, which defeats the purpose of making a concentrate.
4. Strain the liquid through a coffee filter, strainer if possible.
5. Ideally you will be left with a golden tinted liquid.
6. Spread the liquid across a plate/bowl and let sit in a dark area to self evaporate. Using a hairdryer on warm and low blow helps hasten this process.
(Optional) You may always take the choice of speeding up the process by slowly evaporating the alcohol from the solution, just remember alcohol is flammable. Much similarly, so is your house.

when you make your iso hash is it more oily or hashy cause ive had it come out both ways
and when you make it does it taste the same way or similar to the bud you use?
i used reg when i made it (only made it once) and it has a real weird taste almost not like bud at all
My hash usually comes out to a more hash consistency. My first few attempts I did end up with a oilish residue left behind that persisted for quite some time after all the alcohol had evaporated. I rubbed it up with a nug and smoked it, no noticeable difference in my high however.
It usually doesn't taste like the bud/kief I used to conjure it. The taste is very unique, it's like a spicy bud in my opinion.

when i made mine it was oily but think i mixed some kief in with it and it was real moldible hash which was alot nicer then the oily stuff
ill probably try to make some more and some what experiment with it
see what is the best way to make it in my opinion

Yeah man, I've noticed kief greatly improves the hash in comparision to any nug.
You can, it's all preference. Stirring/Shaking would make some difference in the amount of leaf material coming into contact with the alcohol but I'm not sure if it would be incredibly noticeable when using trim.
1 last question, the trichombs actually go through the coffee filter?? it seems like they wouldnt

yeah the tricombs bind with the alcohol like water disolves with sugar
but when you evaporate the iso then it leaves behind the tricombs like water does with sugar or salt

i would even try using a metal mesh screen cause from my experience the coffee filter absorbs alot of the iso i had to ring it out when i was done and got alot more iso at the end but a fine mesh screen would work real nice so you done have all the absorbtion

i have always been told bone dry is the best!!
can someone please provide me with some info on the "Shaking" method? please! i have about 9 ounces of dirty dirty nasty brown (go i do not even want to go through it all, its going to take me at least 2 days!!) but i have this shit, and i t is far from smokeable. i wouldn't!! so im thinking that it may make a decent, or low grade hash. but my main concern is the final overall yield of the hash. if i have 252g how much hash should i get back? and will this be a nasty runny oil? or a solid ply-able hash that i can form and shape? +rep for any info leading on a direct recipe or instructions.
