What temperature and r/h should I be aiming for when drying my buds out please. I'm struggling to get the temp over 15oc without having my light on. Thanks

"Conditions should remain constantly somewhere within the following ranges, temperature should be between 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit, relative humidity should be between 45%-55%.

At temperatures lower than 65 degrees Fahrenheit, drying time will be lengthened. At temperatures higher than 75 degrees, the heat will cause the outer portion of the bud to dry quicker than the inner part, and the taste will suffer."

Remember, light & heat will degrade THC so I would not recommend having any light on. Ideally, you will want complete darkness inside your drying room. I don't believe your temps will be cool enough to cause any issue - better to be running a little cooler than warmer during this process in my mind. Also, make sure you have a fan in your drying room to help limit the risk of mold but do NOT point it directly at the drying buds as this will cause them to dry too quickly.

Ive got my heating on since uk and winter - not hard to find a room that hits 18-20c somewhere in the place.

Humidity indoors is always going to be low this time of year, dosent make a difference as stuffs gona dry all the same.

Obviously others seem to want to.make stuff really complex but i and many many others prefer to keep it simple.

As im drying i want to observe bud ready to smoke in a joint by seven days max and then flavour and taste to come through in the next seven days - 2 week hang dry.

Drying in tents and lights/fans/boveda/humidistats/heaters all seems complicated to just hanging it in a room with good temps and air exchange and waiting for the bud to loose enough moisture that it now becomes smokable and after futher sampling seeing its taste and flavour start coming out.

:-)
