Dumbass. This country has outperformed other countries in the most important ways. Where else has the equivalent of Apple or Facebook or many other fast growing companies been started? And the people who did that? They weren't fucking welders. I respect the trades and craftsmen working in them. The thing is, they won't create the next new tech or design the creative ways to use them. It's one or two of those liberal arts majors that make the world turn upside down from their incredible brilliance. So go ahead and disparage them. But they or a few of them will change the world. Unlike me or you.
