i did a little thinning of my upper fan leaves & my little buds are starting to get some stickiness to them so far im not getting a lot of smell im hoping that changes soon all-in-all i think things are going pretty good
took a little break from yardwork to do a little more to my grow i thinned out a few more fan leaves to allow more light penetration & fed my clones next time i thin leaves will be with the light on so i can concentrate only on leaves that are blocking light from a particular bud i sprayed for spidermites as a preventive measure i have a different pheno im gonna try in my next grow theyre looking good they came from a pheno #3 that gave me a few seeds im curious to see if they lean toward skywalker or og18
things are in their final configuration im not gonna do much more as far as pruning/training goes from here on out im gonna focus on my ph. & nutrient level in my res. not so much to force feed them as to see that they can uptake what is available now ill see if i can pack a little weight on my nugs
today is 29 days since i flipped the light 12/12 im gonna ph. my res. every other day about 5.7'ish the following day they'll flood somewhere around 5.9 - 6.0 then ill take it down again i use lemon juice to lower my ph. theyre starting to smell & im sure sugar frosting is right around the corner as this is one strain that gets sparkly most people do drain to waste in coco but i like mixing nutes once a week & letting it flood 1 time a day using the recirculating feed schedule no one told me when i started doing coco it was d-t-w so i just did it the same as my rockwool ive been doing it this way for about 2 years now looking at my pics im starting to see some sugar frosting starting to build up
got in today to find theyve drank a gallon out of my reservoir & the ph is up to 6.2 so i topped things off & dropped the ph. to 5.8 tomorrow ill do it all over theyre getting sticky & im getting a hint of s/w smell & some sugar too all-in-all a good day today
not much difference from yesterday to today ive finaly got light coverage to all my lower buds im having to lower my ph. every day to keep it in the 5.7 - 6.0 range im thinking of doing a couple of feedings in the 6.1 - 6.4 range my buds are starting to fatten up a bit & get some stickiness to them & if disturbed they give off some smell & unlike my soil grow odor so far is not an issue & im not sure if i like that or not im looking at cannalope kush & the lemon skunk/og 18 cross available in pick & mix from attitude kosher tangie & strawberry bananna arent available in pick & mix yet for now ive got my hands with the skywalker
things are still filling in & my focus is on maintaining my nutrient ph & reservoir level this srain dont produce large buds but it does produce a gang of rock-hard superdense nugs since riu has reconfigured itself i cant pull up any of my old grow pics were just gonna have to generate new ones as we go along
