After a bunch of DIY cloners, I bought a Clone King, been using the same unit for about 7-8yrs now, I get almost 100% success.
I use ...
non PH'd tap water ( no roots-not feeding)
pump 24/7
T5's @ 16"above
I've used hormones in the past, but I find "for me" they are not necessary
If you need to add "things" I find Dyna-gro's KLN & Pro tek are the best. ( 5ml each per 3gal rez )
I don't regulate my temps, but I have found close to 76* water is the sweet spot
I clean with H2o2 in between runs.Any disinfectant to speak of?
That would be my guess, You don't want growth.*I'm now wondering if my qb is too intense and maybe not putting forth effort in roots, rather still trying to photosynthesis? Hmmm
I guess sometimes you need to write it all down before it hits you.I clean with H2o2 in between runs.

You just throw untouched cuts in there or do you slice, de-skin, or split your stems in anyway? Those are fuckin gorgeous. Soooo many root sites....
I just cut a bunch off my mother with scissors & pop into the pucks, I really don't fuq with them at all.You just throw untouched cuts in there or do you slice, de-skin, or split your stems in anyway? Those are fuckin gorgeous. Soooo many root sites....
yea...sounds like too much light, they are feeding off themselves to try to grow, instead of root. IMHO, low intensity light is all you need. They yellowed too soon ime.
Couldn't be more true. You could root with a single LM301B diode.yea...sounds like too much light, they are feeding off themselves to try to grow, instead of root. IMHO, low intensity light is all you need.
I have rooted clones from the light of a south facing bathroom window before with my cloner
