It rains every damn day here in Rainsylvania, my outdoor plants never have problems in hot dry weather, my question is can too much rain and minimal sunshine damage outdoor flowering plants? TIA

Yes and im having the same problem. Mold will start if they dont have enough time to dry out between rains. if it continues to stay bad closer to end of season you should look at harvesting a week or two early if needed after a few dry days.

I'm protected a little by roof overhang, and the soil drains good as well (plants aren't sitting in puddles) they all still look healthy too.

yo man, my main stalk got so heavy with rain it snapped. at the bottom at that. it was my only plant too. but at the rate its raining here ialready knew it wasn't going to be a good harvest.

I go out and shake the rain out of the bud. If it's raining for like a week straight or something I might rig up a make shift cover w/ some plastic.

im havin the same problem, fucking sucks =/ i got about 2 weeks left and my girl needs all the sun she can get

I know, WTF! Will it ever end. I found a bud with mold on it yesterday(cut it out), now I'm paranoid after this weekend it's going to be all over every plant I have. This is some straight-up BULLSHIT!

There is no way to say how much rain. It could rain heavy for 15min and stay humid the rest of the day with no wind and you could get it. I found one bud that had rot on it already and the rest of the plant was okay. Now im just sitting by the edge of my seat though. Right now is when everyones buds are swelling up the most. when water is sitting on the bud and it starts to grow over that or the water penatrates into the bud then it will mold. which is why air flow and/or the sun are key. There are other reason for mold but this is currently our issue. shaking the plant if its possible to access frequently works if not a little cover like jj05 showed. Best would be for the rain to pass and us to get ampel amounts of sun to make these ladies blow up!

so my grow spot is nice and open, so good air flow, and get direct sun all day exept when it passes behind one tree, this being said do i have to worry to much about mold, it rained hard last night all night, and around 5-6 oclock today my plants were all dry
