Rain Water for my Indoor plants

Just checked my PH levels of my tap water and its way to high. Found an old bucket of rain water outside which i think is perfect PH level for my plant. Only problem is the water is rather dirty coz it has been lying out for months. Will this still be ok to use? I apologise if i sound like a dumb ass lol. Any help or input would be much apreciated. Thanks

P.S. What is the recomended PH level for Lowryder#2 x AK47? I read somewhere the PH for lowryders should be lower than normal plants

Not sure about the lowryder but rain water is my thing. I gotta get deep for a second. I only use rain water because for one i live in a very rural area. Two its packed with nitrogen. How is it full of nitrogen. Lighting. Thunder and lighting positivly charge the ions in the rain clouds and make nitrogen. Dont beleave me. Do your own test. Water a section of grass with regular tap water. Then water the same amount of grass in a seperate spot with rain water. In a week you will see a difference. If it has algea growing in it use it. The plant will eat it up. But if there is anything else in the bucket. I would throw it out. Good luck and sorry for being so longwinded

im using creek water for my outdoor... i havent checked the ph of it yet... i shud do that... its clear and nice... i just let it sit fora bit so it gets to room/outdoor temp. so it doesnt shock the roots. is creek water decent water to use?

Thanks for your reply. Im still undecided wether to use it or not. Im scared there could be something in it that will be deadly for my plants. the bucket has been there for a while. I would just put out new buckets but im not getting alot of rain just now. Anybody else got an idea on what my PH level should be at for the lowryders?

you cant make nitrogen out of nothing, you cant make anything out of nothing, there might be some vapor in the clouds from factories and shit that contains nitrogen
