Rainpoint automatic watering system reviews?

It looks like this

is gonna be 13 dollars cheaper than buying an 800gph pump, the necessary tubes and nozzles, and a timer. Is it going to be good enough?

The rainpoint would be shooting water directly into the soil, instead of being sprayed from a few inches above the soil. Is that worse? It also doesn't have an adjustable flow rate, and I imagine the pressure is pretty weak, versus the larger pump, with a 1/2 in tube dropping down into 1/4 inch tubes. It only has about 15GPH.
