Maybe flatten plant canopy and alleviate the need to do such things.
That light has passive heat sinks and “ good airflow “ is probably something to think about. With it slammed all the up to the top , leaves little room for heat dissipation ( with refective material at top of tent ) right on top of rig.

Probably not, there's ways to manage the space you already have. I'm in the process of making my brother's tent bigger so he doesn't pass out when bending over. I'm doing it by putting it up on a cabinet I'm building, and cutting the bottom if his tent out.
Real outside the box approach. Check it out, might help you.

If he is using these new uv lamps zips would get degraded really fast.if you have spaceabove your tent you can raise the wholr tent and drill a hole soo your medium is outside the tent.
And if all else fails a nice little slap and break all their necks with some suppercropping

Only if the zip ties are under the light. These would be far above it. OP really just needs to loop their wire around the tent bar once or twice as someone suggested and be done with it. I have my lights even closer to the tent ceiling and theyre more powerful.
When i needed my lights higher i just looked around the house and found stuff to make it happen (zip ties, carabiners, duct tape) in the time it took to make this thread and read the replies it could have been done a few times by now lol.

Don't cause a fire by putting your driver too close to the roof! What does the manufacturer say about minimum space from the top of the tent? My light says it must be at least 14" from the roof.

The best thing you can do once you get the light as high as you can safely get it, is to LST the plants to keep them low, and time your flip to account for 75% stretch. otherwise HST works if the plant doesn't cooperate. I've literally taken 10" colas and just tweaked them over, they recover just fine.

I know how to do all that I just wanted the most space possible no big deal il leave it like that
