Rapid Rooter Starter Plugs

I bought a bag of Rapid Rooter Starter Plugs from Amazon. I only used 6 of them.
How do I store the leftovers for use later. I am just starting out. But I do not want to waste money.
My setup was expensive enough, I am growing in soil. Not Hydroponics.
I want to thank every one that responds to my first post on this site.

I am sorry, maybe I did not phrase my question properly.
What I mean is they are wet, and in time even if kept in air conditioning they will eventually mold and mildew.
I have them in a ziploc bag, but is it best to let them dry out and add moisture when I am ready to use them again?
Should I freeze them? How can you store them long term without them getting moldy.
Thanks to all that respond.

I find taking the bag they come in then add at least one more heavy well sealed plastic bag after you seal bag they come in from any air leaks. You can use glass jars and then your golden along with a good lid is another cheap option.
Keep them in a cool place out of lighting/sun.
They don't go moldy, if they dry out a little make sure you rehydrate/soak like directions suggest when you next use them.

can you spray it with h202 to keep mold at bay?

This is why I went with Jiffy Pellets. Bought the 100 pack in 2015 and only use 10 a year, 6 cannabis, 4 tomato, but
no worries with storage.
They dont produce the same hairy roots like the peat type sponges do ime. Have u tried riot rooters?

I have not tried riot rooters. It's an "if it ain't broke" deal for me. I transfer Jiffy to mycorrhizae rich environment day after sprout and have a 5 gallon root ball 68 days later. Auto grower

Thats the best i got from jiffys too if i keep it humid around it i may get more side roots but something about the sponges makes them crazy i think the texture and its better aerated plus maybe more organic for mycos to grow better than coco mostly inert.
These r actually rapid rooters all same to me.20190802_175713.jpg20190722_190137.jpg
