Rare Dankness Ghost Train Haze #1 fem grow

Well I finally decided to get a journal going here on this GTH #1, sorry btw if this don't belong in here (mods please feel free to move if it don't)
I had gth several times from a local dispenary but not sure which gth it is? Just that it's some of the Dabkness smoke ever, one of my favorite strains thus far (and I've done tons of sampling in the Dam and been growing perpetual for a couple of years now, so no expert but I know what I like)
So I ordered a pack of the gth #1, I would've prefered regs but if I decide to do a seed run there is always STS and I should be running some regs pretty soon that if I come across a very studley male maybe I'll sprinkle some pollen on one of her clones... Just running ideas thru my head...
I started her on 1/25 in a 1gal plant warrior pot filled with coco amended with mosquito dunks and great white... Using the canna line up of nutes...
Here she was on day 1

This was her not to many days ago


She is now about three weeks old, I finally topped her and took the top and just put it in some coco with clonex into a 16oz solo cup, I put the cup in a big 5gal bucket partially covered with Saran wrap to keep in the humidity and got it on a heating mat...

And here she is after the topping tonight.... Really want to bush her out.... I got her under a 1,000w mh on 20/4....

She was topped at the third node leaving the top I took also with three nodes.... One is in the coco...
Now there is four tops.... Wonder what she'll look like in a week or two... Very purple stems on parts and dark leaves with the backs of them a funky shade... Has anyone that run her before did she purple on you?
Come along for the train ride, it's going to be lengthy one as I'm also trying to veg a couple of other photos also and grab clones before putting them into flower.., also running a couple of autos in there while the photos veg....

love this plant, i got like 7 more seeds ill be popping when i feel like running my sativa phenos. shits vigorous and stretches like crazy. ill be popping in time to time...

Been eyeing this strain, thinking about giving it a run.. Interested to see how long it takes to flower. Thought it may take a little longer than I would want it to (10 weeks?).

Looks like she's off to a great start! The clone looks nice too!

It looks like she's going to be a hell of a plant. I had no idea RD fucked with feminized beans. I never find this stuff out until right after I've placed an order.

Just saw this thread , I just popped 2 GTH#1 beans a few days ago , so I'll be glued here

I went to buy a pack out of pure addiction and it was all out, for once I am glad the beans I wanted weren't in stock.

I'm a bit upset the clone I took withered and died going to bust out the ez cloner and fim the hell out of her... Trying to really bush her out and keep her "short" for she doesn't become uncontrable...
@kingarthur not to tempt you but they had regs of gth in stock over at NGR, couldn't help myself today and grabbed a pack... As I most certainly want to find a male to do a seed run on these.... Thinking they will be good to always have around to pheno hunt and play with in the future....also may hit a few other photos.... Not sure yet.... The pollen chucker in me sometimes can't help themselves... :rofl:
Well here she is, about 1month old now.... Once I get some clones rooted ill be transplanting her...


I am also running an auto version of her called Fantasmo Express from Mephisto genetics... Thought it would be fun to see the photo and auto together... She's just a couple of days younger than the gth

Thanks brother! I really best get to fimming her up in the next few days... Was thinking of taking them all down a couple of nodes, will create a bunch of heads.... Lol I know my way around an auto inside and out, still learning all the tricks of the trade with these photos.... Much more forgiving but an entire different monster...I mean I've run my share of photos these past couple of years but never with anything with this much sati influence... Once I get the main tent in 12/12 I may start popping some of these haze crosses from mr nice, also got a pack of Tom hills haze I want to run but when I do also want to preserve those genetics so will want to do a seed run, lol so many plans and not enough space or time....

Great to have you along hulk! Well the clone straight into coco was a big FAIL, withered and died, so I busted out the big guns tonight and went through the pain staking process of sanitizing the ez cloner and getting it set up.... Hopefully these cuttings will take, I did some major topping tonight, took 6 cuttings and have left the gth in shambles.... She looks like a wreck now but hoping by next week she'll recover.... I just want to be sure to have some rooted clones before I go flipping to 12/12.... Will see what happens, maybe keep this one from seed as the mom for a while and just keep topping and bushing her out? I only got a 4x4x7 tent and a closet that I can throw an led in....

Well it's been almost a week since last update, I'm not sure if the GTH is n senstive or what the deal is with some of the funky leaves, not sure if she's getting root bound or what the deal is... giving her about 1/4 to 1/3 of reccomended doses of the canna line up.... She recovers from topping and fimming extremely quick, a plant that is easy to get a bunch of cuttings weekly... Just so far in the ez cloner none of the cuttings have taken root yet but they are all still alive and rather healthy looking actually... Just awaiting my pack of the regs to come in to find a sexy male to get some pollen from, I love this strain to much not to repo it for my personal pheno hunts in the future.... Also have a few ideas of using the male to hit a couple of other ladies I currently got going, a DP strawberry cough, a sickMeds green crack and a Sannies Jackberry x Shackzilla, thinking any of these strains would be a great cross to the gth, or the other idea I was toying with was popping a few of Motarebels lung candy and using a male from one of those.... Any thoughts guys?

Well FINALLY after what seemed forever the cuttings in the ez cloner all took to root... I just trabsplanted 5 out of 6 into 1gal plant warrior pot and 4 32oz cups.... I'm finally feeling comfortable enough to throw her into flower in the next few days....

Here are the clones :

I'll give them a couple of days under the solar storm 400w led in veg mode to be sure they take to the coco and don't die on me.... I want to be able to keep this pheno for a while until I find a male... Speaking of nales, I got my pack of reg Ghost Train Haze #1, supposedly these are direct from Scott at rare dankness via NGR... Looks all legit, beans are good quality, popped one the other night and put it into coco... Hoping for a male, should poke its head up by tomorrow....

The GTH has now been in veg for about 6weeks give or take... From the bottom of the pot to the top she's measuring around 20" I am thinking she's so branched out and easily bendable that for the first time ever I am going to attempt my hand at making a scrog net.... Going to use pvc piping for the project... Was thinking maybe 20" in height by 22"x22" for the top of the screen..... She seems like she would easily fill the screen now.... Question is how many square inches is good for a scrog? 2.5" squares? Or what?

Actually have a free moment off I got inspired to build my scrog screen, first attempt at ever doing anything like this:.. Ended up with a 25" x 25" screen with 3" space netting... I used 3/4" pvc piping and a drill some screws and twine... About $40 spent at lowes making it.... Think it's a bit to high so will cut it down lower once I get this gth transplanted... Not sure if I should go with the 3gal plant warrior pot or need something bigger?

I am really excited, Ghost Train Haze was the only cannabis I tried in Colorado as I had my own so it was all for novelty. IT tasted so damn good and has a real nice face melting high. Really good strain right there, only reason I haven't picked up a pack is cuz I am hoping to get a cut from someone while I search for gold in the dark shadow haze. Cheers brother and I hope everything stays going good.

P.S You did a really nice scrogg there imo, I am impressed .

How is everyone? Very keen eye there grease monkey, I did have a clip fan lower than the plant blowing on her, though ever with the plant moved the large fan leaves seem to do that regardless... Not sure what's up with that? None of my other ladies are doing it? Maybe it's a genetic thing....
Well I put the scrog screen over the gth and it seemed as if it was to low as I wasn't able to water her that good, so I added 3" back using some couplers.... Seems now I'll have an easier time watering, though a little longer to fill up the screen.... I am hoping for the best out of this gal and that she don't throw nanners or anything....

And here she is with the screen over her.... Any thoughts ? Things looking about right for a scrog? Not to keen with the thought once the screen is filled she's pretty much stuck there until harvest.....



She's still on 18/6 atm.... How much longer you think I should veg for?
