Rare Dankness Scott's OG / The Cali Connection 818 Headband

This thread will be on some Rare Dankness & Cali Connection.
I am a better grower and also have new rooms from when I ran the OG Ghost Train Haze #1 & Somali Taxi Ride, and I think those turned out really good. I will be putting much more effort into these. As far as CC goes, I have (2) Pre-98 Bubba Kush plants going. They were fems, these 818 Headband are reg seeds. I have several packs of CC gear now (as well as RD) and I am hoping this 818 makes me fan.

I am pretty damn sure I will have new camera before these get very big.

This was Sunday night. Had no idea till this morning that the pic didn't turn out very good cuz dry soil. I figured pic would have been better before watering. Looks like I was mistaken. I will run down now and take current pic.

Wow I'd say its a great start to the day!! So happy to wake up and see this thread going...i already know how this shit will turn out so Ima sit back and enjoy the pictures until a week before harvest. Then I'll gather my camping gear, make the haul north, and wait in line until its ready!

You started the seedsin OF? Looks like they are doing fine. I thought OF would burn seedlings.

Too often my day goes to shit like that, then I wake up and it's a new day and shit just works out. Glad you found your cell. You will get hooked up before harvest. I will take double cuttings and give you copies of whatever 818's are female, and get homeless copies of the Scott's female, My intentions are to run these through hydro once they are sexed and if/when I find keeper.

Another thing is, depending on veg time, your ass might be bringing snowmobile, not camping gear! lmao. Those few weeks of summer 'bout gone up here. Leaves are starting to turn.

They were started in Root Riot cubes and I left them in there a few extra days, till the elephants roamed off to different area. I used to mix the FF w/Light Warrior, but stopped. Homeless turned me onto new Michigan products that I am going to start using so win/loose/draw that will probably be last time like that.
I will go outside and take pics of what all I have to work with. I am digging in on some super shit.

This is what I have so far to mix up a few batches of super soil. Homeless has me trying out a coco mix that I have been wanting to mess with.
On top of the cart is everything for Subcool's super soil. Minus the soil and worm castings. In addition to the super soil ammendments I have a bag of crab shell and kemp meal. I am running real low on soil and I am either going to go with FF or I will switch to Pro-mix. I need to decide real quick. lol. I am hoping to get downstate or over to green bay for cement mixer cuz my back is fucked up and my help is very fucking good either. lmao.

Man I wish I had the room to play with some dirt like that..

Real curious to see how you like the super soil now that you've run quite a few batches through with regular soil and ferts. Particularly curious if you can notice a change in the taste of your buds.

I've been wanting to try super soil, but I just can't envision where this extra free time is gonna come from to be fucking around with mixing my own soil and amendments. If you give it a thumbs up, I will take the plunge.

You probably wouldn't need a whole batch of soil either. But if 2-3 growers in your area get together and mix it, someone has driveway to mix soil in, then you each take small trash can of ss to last through winter, or whatever.

I am pretty convinced you do want to take plunge on this. I just am not sure on details of it. I would use subcools most recent mix, but he isn't even using it anymore, eh? I originally used the ebay shit and I had couchlock mix it and it wasn't covered good, blah blah blah. Certainly haven't been blown away with Roots or Fox Farm. Pro-mix needs to be watered more often, but I want to find something automated to water 20-30 plants. Whether it be once, a few times a day, or possibly a drip. Not sure, that is down the road, but not far down road.

Like I said I have extra crab shell and kelp meal. If you can't tell, I am leaning toward doing a subcool super soil, w/ pro-mix for medium and The worm casting from the Dairy Doo company. That would be a good starting point for us. The shit needs 4 weeks to activate. We are talking Oct. before I am getting it into pots. Maybe by spring the TGA charge packs will be available in Michigan, or atleast online. Playing in worm and bat shit, along with dried blood and fish isn't exactly something I am looking to do in spare time. It is something I am going to mess with though and I will keep it all on here for us all to check out. I am thinking at least half the people that go through here know more than me, so I take all the help I can get.

Has anyone tried a coco super soil? I have never used coco before so I have no idea. I will mix some up homeless style later today.

yeah but I just don't associate myself with other growers. I fly under the radar like a mofo... I can live with fox.farms or.something pre mixed I guess

I figure if I slow down on the meds around the 13th, that'll give me 2 weeks to get my shit together. That idea fucking blows on the 14th though.

15th isn't looking very good either. Spend the morning at the VA hospital, smelling institution air. lol

I had homeless bring me a few clones and go over my hydro gear. He has been very helpful then, and since then.

Thank You for working so tirelessly so Michigan has better growers. I know you sacrifice much for our cause and I applaud that!
