Glad how much did all of those soil components cost, and how many plants would you be able to grow out with it? My curiosity of organic gardening vs hydro is growing.

Sweet idea about a cement mixer for putting it together. I wonder if there is a way you could blast it with propane heat as it turns to kill any bugs or fungus and whatnot before it is potted and put in the room.

The small shit was just under $150. Problem is, much of that was shipping. I will usually order about anything from Amazon. They are good for ballasts and bulbs too. Ebay is a few bucks cheaper, but you need to know who to use on ebay. Anyway, these vendors on Amazon are bitches. As popular as super soil is, products are always scattered all over. I saw on an episode of the weed nerd subcool went to hydro store and bought all that shit, plus the worm castings (30-50 pounds i believe), 8 bags of soil and a 400 Lumatek ballast for $420. In your area, you should be able to do better than I did. I wanted the best worm casting I can get. I was gonna make compost bin, but I am concerned about consistency. I am not exactly sure where homeless got my castings, possibly the farm itself. Plus I need 8 bags of soil.

It will make almost 2 garbage cans of hot soil. The problem with the cement mixer is the extra time it may take. I will only be able to mix 1/2 or 1/3 batch in mixer at a time. I am going to probably start making 2,3,4 1/2 batches at a time in order to use mixer. Now I am not sure if you know, or I am sure not everyone knows, that the mix is really powerful and you put it in the bottom half(ish, depending on strain) of pot container. The top half will be your regular medium, like a ocean forest. Once the plant is big enough and the roots grow in the super soil and things get good. So anyway, using a full batch of supersoil will last you however long it would take you to go through almost 20 bags of soil. (8 bags, + worm castings, which is bag+, then all other bullshit, which is partial bag, then match all that will reg soil.)

I am pretty damn medicated at the moment so maybe I will edit all this after. lol.
Propane to kill the bugs is real good idea. That is another reason why I have been thinking of using pro-mix vs. soil. I doubt a can find more than a few bundles later on. I am very interested in doing a pro-mix / ff of side-by-side. I don;t have the blood meal and bone meal for 2 full batches though. Fuck it, I do this all the time. Once I get to the small store, my options are almost always fucked. It doesn't help me that they can order the shit. I am on computer more than they are. Anyway, let me quit rambling on and get some shit done.

sterilizing the soil further would concern me that I'd be killin-off some of the microbe population that were working so hard to develop, but I really don't know a helluva lot behind soil science, or insects. this entire method may be better referred to as TLO, true living organics (doesn't subcool have his name on enough already, lol). I better get cookin on my batch so it has time to compost further outside before it gets too cold.

These seeds will have a few keepers, I can smell it already.

Abe, I tell people about these and they don't know what the hell I am talking about. lmao.
They are going to know what I am talking about. This is that shit the Lions keep getting busted smoking. Fucks you right up. Every time anyone says anything to you at all, your first words are, huh?

Yeah..why don't any of these lions have a med card? but I have been buying a great potting mix from the grow store..good price..they make themselves and comes with 2 or 3 bennies already mixed in..23 bucks a bag ..3 cu ft bags...good stuff..I know they would cut a better rate if i bought in bulk..

So my mail lady pulled in my driveway to get my heavy box of advanced nutrients out of her vehicle and she says, wow, did your dogs tear into a skunk?

That's a classic Glad! My neighbor brought over some zucchini bread and told me the same thing the other day. Your house smells like it was sprayed by a skunk...best you can do is play stupid!!

Oops...LOL! Might be time to upgrade the carbon filter system bro!
Carbon won't work nearly as well in high humidy. You're exhaust can be capped w carbon. Also i prefer to have at least two additional carbon 'scrubbers' just turning over the air within the grow so the smell [parts per million] is always low. All smell travels straight 'up' more easily w the onset of colder outside temps.

This whole scenario falls into the "Good" type of problems to correct.

I couldn't think of anything to say, so I took the joint out of my mouth and said it was my pot in the basement. Thanked her for delivering my nutes from Amazon. lmao.

After the whole, drug agents at my house last year for seed orders, I thought the cat was out of the bag and everyone around here knew what I was doing. Especially my mail lady! lmao. When I get coffee mugs with orders they are in square boxes and she has said more than once, "I swear you usually have to sign for those". I thought, shit, that many Yoopers order seeds? lmao.
