Is that a standard size home depot tomato cage in pic #1? Tough to tell from a pic, but it looks bigger than the ones I have. I'm in the market for bigger ones.
I suppose one could be altered/made, but my green thumb far exceeds my handyman skills.

I bought those cages from flynn's nursery in escanaba. They are much thicker than the basic ones. They were crazy as fuck expensive, but on clearance last fall
so I scooped them up. Even at clearance they were like $8 or $10 apiece. They are nice, clean and basic though.

Yes. It automatically locks every time the door closes so it stays compliant.

nice! i was looking into one of those for this new things im doin. how much was it and how hard was it to install with a power source? i've seen them done in commercial aluminum doors but not in residential.

I have several. They are about $125. Fairly easy to install. That particular one in the pic is a little cheaper and all I buy now are the Schlage brand. There are some that you can unlock with a smart phone. That is pretty cool shit. I didn't need to re-drill and holes or any shit like that for the install.
