Oh and I would introduce myself but I've been a member here for years. A setting or something got changed in my account and I couldn't do anything with it, hopefully it will get straightened out one day. Those that know me will recognize my setup(minus the new hood =] ) To those who don't, good to meet you. Hope everyone's grows are going good and heavy harvests in all our futures.

Looks good dude!!! right where ya left off from the last thread!! how are your temps with the new hood?

Temps are way better stoney! :) glad to be back.

I have the new hood only about 4.5" above the highest canopy. My old hood which was 19" x 11" x 7.75"H I had about 9-10" above the plants.

I can tell I lost a little bit of intensity by using the new hood, of course I'm spreading the light over a much larger area. I think it makes up for it though having the light so much closer.

This hood does not get hot, on the top of it, the glass etc. Doesn't get hot like other hoods I have used. I read a lot of reviews on the Magnum XXXL which i was going to get but their are many heat issues with it.

My Flower Room stays 75-78 degress with no A/C so were good there in the summer. In the winter I have to run small heater.
Three words.... I Love It!

Shitty luck today, my 600 watt bulb blew. I guess anyway it's got some black and gray areas and some white chunks of stuff bouncing around in the bulb so I'm giving the girls in flower about 36 hours of darkness until I can get to the hydro store tomorrow and get another 600watt bulb. I was planning to buy a backup bulb soon but not soon enough I guess. I have backup for my 250w MH. I'll get new 600 HPS tomorrow and send the blown bulb off under warranty so when I get it, it will be used as a backup bulb.

I should have shelled out for the Hortilux Super HPS when I bought my ballast. Live and learn.

The buds are still getting bigger in the dark and will be good flowering start for the Ice that have only been in there for a few days.

On a better note, my Tangerine Dream has reverted back and starting to take off. So hopefully a few weeks after I harest

Dude that sucks man! Like ya said the dark will do em good. At least you will get it replaced for free. Is your tang dream a little more lime in shade than your other girls?

Fucking laptop! I had a fucking book typed and hit some key and it navigated back. So ya in short she is lighter in color but new growth is darker green in color and new leaves look like they would feel like felt or something if you get what I mean. Which she was cut from a TD 21 days into 12/12 and I noticed this with the last clone taken in flower that reverted back.

Would type it all out again but afraid a typo will wipe it again. Will post pics and better update tomorrow when I'm on the real PC.

On your new growth do the leaves seem to be "thicker" I guess you would say. Didn't snap any pics cam batteries were in wii remotes. Mine isn't big enough to clone yet but can't wait until she is.

Always a pleasure when you stop by stoney

Yum yum me want!
Thanks a lot guys. I can't wait to get some TD girls in the flower room. I have yet to try any TD but it's a recent cup winner and brought you by Barney's Farm so you can't go wrong. She started slow being a reverted clone but she is taking off and the root development is amazing. I've been giving her weak nutes (FF Grow Big 1/4 tsp per gal.) Think I'll increase nutes a little next time I mix nutes. Hopefully in a week I can get some more clones from her.

Thanks again for the kind words guys. Will throw up some better bud porn when it's all done and primo to smoke. Of course I will have smoked a good amount of it before then LOL Ran out of LA a little while ago and brick doesn't compare.

Blaze 'em up!

I'm with you on the cup winner reason!!! as long as what i get is what was entered in the cup.... I'm gonna put my TD in flower either this week end or next week. when were you thinking of putting yours in?

It would be cool to put em in at the same day to compare. if it's not to long, i could wait a little longer. I'd be curious how they would turn out, especially with two totally different setups!!!

Well the TD I have I got as a clone from a flowering TD. I don't have any beans for it and I was going to keep her as a mother in case I want to keep the strain around. I did take a clone though, if she roots soon. I'm down to do that bro I'll get some pics in a few days. She has just started to take off and maybe about 9-10" tall and has been topped once.

Harvested the rest of the RBC that I started to. The top bud weighs well over an oz dry which makes me very happy. Final weight should be in the next 5 days I'm guessing around 2.5 oz on this plant maybe more.

Didn't go through pics to find my Open Sesame comparison yet been busy but here's some bud porn for you to enjoy!.

Well for some reason RIU won't upload them no error message or anything just not uploading may be my ISP weather is terrible here right now. Anyway will upload ASAP
