Rawr Mwootens 2012 outdoor! (2nd gen , first thread disappeared)

I dry depending on what my harvest conditions are like .. last year I dry trimmed some and I wet trimmed others. I've yet to decide as to I'm going to do it this year. but if I dry trim I'll hang branches and trim after its fairly dry and If I wet trim I'll just trim everything and put it in my drying racks. I have 3 of these http://www.maxtool.com/Agricultural/products/173701.asp .

I use a combination of half gallon Ball brand mason jars and gladware tubs of equal size. I gotta say I honestly think I prefer the gladware as it allows small amounts of moisture out and this will allow a bit of forgiveness with mold.

I bought some 48 quart water tight tubs from the container store and I think I may be able to fill them this year with romulan. I bought rubber seal to replace the existing water tight seal.. hopefully it makes it air tight and works for curing.

I also may water cure a zip or 2 for the trimmers to smoke.

I just got 10 more 5 gallon buckets and airtight lids. I also have a couple dozen half-gallon mason jars set aside and bins if I need. That should do it. Can't wait to chop some of these babies :bigjoint:

I'm curious of there was a difference in the taste and smell of the final product between the ones you dried untrimmed versus trimmed wet
