RCMP threats to Nanaimo dispensaries a good thing for legalization?

Hopefully they drop the mmj related cases, niqab appeal has been dropped.
PM Trudeau has already mandated his ministers to initiate the legalization process.

The busts might help get through quicker, or at least have cases dropped, laws weakened and manditory mins removed.

We will start to see what will happen when the politicians go to the hill on dec 3.
With so many other important issues on the table, mj being included in mandates is welcome by me.

There's plenty in the LPC platform I don't agree with, which is why I didn't vote for them, but they are most certainly not a carbon copy of the conservatives.

So I guess the salient question is, what do you define as 'conservative-lite'? Trudeau's support (whether final or not) of TPP is troubling (and C51) but his overall approach to government (actually making it open), even before parliament resumes is head and shoulders above the conservatives.

I think one company shut their doors for a day or two, "out of respect for the rcmp". But I'm pretty sure it's been business as usual.

At some point, you will have to confront the disconnect between being pro dispensary, pro home growing, and the fact that the guy you support, Trudeau, voted in MandaTORY Minimums for even people who grow more than 6 plants and still hasn't stood up to protect dispensaries, even as the RCMP runs rampant over patient rights.

You will have to wake up and realize at some point that your beloved Justin is just another Harper, and that he will hand over 'legalization' to his MMPR cronies. And we all know you will try and talk yourself out of the corner you'll be in with apologies for Justin's perpetuation of Harper's failed policies.
