RDWC Bacterial Growth CAN IT BE SALVAGED ?

My current pump is rated for 370gph and after you said something I checked the specs on the chiller and they recommend 200-315gph, specifically their 291 gph pump. So that could definitely be the cause of my lower performance. I haven't ordered the new pump yet so I will look into the DC pumps you mention.
I was gonna mention that, about the range they recommend.

But yea, Jebao are decently priced, and can be had on amazon or aquarium/reef stores and the like.

Many brands, for example: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=jebao+dc+pump&ref=nb_sb_noss

Edit: I also specifically used them for rdwc style because they're dc, run very low power, and thus heat the water up less than a traditional style aquarium pump.

This may be too late, but if you go resv->pump->tee, one leg of the tee gets a ball valve and goes directly back to the resv, the other let gets a ball valve and then into the chiller. By adjusting the ball valves, you can control the flow through the chiller. you might be able to make it work with just one ball valve (depending).
