Rdwc troubleshooting

Thinking I have too many 90s in my line causing less pressure
I use a 1400 for 12 buckets and have lots of bends. Feed lines are reduced down to 1/2" at each site.
The kicker for mine is they spray, they arent just waterfalls. I put a cap with holes drilled into it on the end to cause some back pressure.
Find a way to restrict each waterfall and create pressure.
You should be fine with anything over 800gph for your setup. I run 2x 800s (1 per 6 sites) on my flower setup.
You dont want to oversize your pump too much or you get excess heat. I HAVE to run a chiller on this veg setup with the 1400.

I will just didnt want to hear the negativity. Bc I didnt spend 200 in 2" bulkheads. But I will later. I used aquarium sealant on the outside to seal
I mean if you didn't have to blow the cash on bulkheads but came up with something that works for you. Thats not negative.
Besides, those big tapered toilet bowl gaskets would make a great seal if you put em on right.

A lot of people on this forum arent so positive towards people that want to be cheap and creative over using what's proven to work. I'm big on built over bought and like to experiment and have had my sanity questioned here.

Doing my testing I'm not getting good movement of water so I was thinking getting a bigger pump just cant find one.i have a danner 1200 GPU but drops to 1100 at 1' of head
You can check on a Ebay for pumps.
Also, I added sprinkler heads to my waterfalls to improve surface action & so far it’s working great...

They are just 2" male and female electric fittings with a rubber toilet bowl gasket
Exactly what I bought..2 inchers. It took a month and a half for Menards to fill my order. I ordered over 300 of them..Exact same ones. Still building out the rooms so haven't tried them yet. I'm using O rings tho..bought cheap on line..about $75 I think. Also, using that silicone that non toxic and not Permenent..Its a liquid gasket..found in automotive deptIMG_20191124_134942.jpg

those 2 pumps should be equal at least ! Depending on the lengths and layout of the water loops and their resistance, one pumps flow rate may be adjusted in order to achieve equal flow rates on both loops.

Brother, how's this going? And can you show us th O-Rings you ended up using. Where you get them online and why not gaskets?

When using that O-Ring, do you have problems with it squishing out the side? Since it does not have a "groove"?
