i can't speak on that from personal experience. but from the pics of peoples' scrog setups here, i'd say it's worth the effort. and i'm pretty sure you typically top several times before the plant reaches the screen anyways. so you could do your topping, and decide on the scrog net a little bit later.

I know that's prob the most retardest question youve heard.. But idk how I could go about watering without having to remove them from my room..
Mainly so I can scrog up my next grow

O man I saw this bad ass idea... I think it draws from a hydro drip idea but you just take a hose right and put a cap on the end of it and cut it as long as you need. Wrap it around the inside of you pot and put holes on the inside of it and then he ran it up to the edge of his scrog frame and put a hole in the frame and I assume he just poured his water/nutes down the hose slowly and it watered it! It was such a cool fucking Idea! I'm doing that with my next setup no matter what I end up doing!

but wouldnt your pots still leak out the bottom, cuz that's my problem

Well the setup on wheels had a rubbermaid tub that was part of it at the bottom to catch all of that....

Go to the advanced growing forum on here and there is a whole part dedicated to scrog that's where I got all of these ideas!
