If you grow a great crop of bud with no help from anyone else and then all your neighbors show up and decide to split your buds up among everyone on the block because they have none would this be a good thing? Is re-distributing money from the rich to the poor a good thing?

I agree, everyone should be entitled to a good education and if people want a good education they can work hard and get it, like Obama did.... get it?well, there used to be something in place called trickle-down economics...
by which the wealthy were made wealthy by enterprises within the U.S., so basically the wealthy's money would slowly "trickle-down" to the less rich by means of salaries, and such...
now there exists "funnel-up" economics, by which enterprises continually cut costs by operating outside the U.S, finding cheaper and cheaper sources of labor. They go on to gradually increase the selling price. so the rich get richer and richer...
that said, the answer to the question is no.
but taxing should be more representative of your means, and certain areas of quality of life should be met according to people's needs.... for example: right now the poorest, least educated people get the worst education, which is not really representative of what these people need.... get it??
Ditto to that.No, I don't get it^^^?
Haha, ok i'll break this brainbuster down. In America, if you really want a good education, you can work hard and get it. Obama is the perfect example of this concept.Ditto to that.
And by "work hard" do you mean saddle yourself with debt, or ride the coattails of Mommy and Daddy? Those are about the only options you have.Haha, ok i'll break this brainbuster down. Don't worry guys not many people understand hard work.
You can work in the day and go to school at night. You can work at night and go to school in the day. Work and go to school online. You can work 2 part time jobs and go to school part time like myself. In short, if you really want something in America you can get it, if you are willing to work hard. Unfortunately, like you said, it is becoming harder and harder to find a job.And by "work hard" do you mean saddle yourself with debt, or ride the coattails of Mommy and Daddy? I don't know if you've noticed, but most people (who are lucky enough to be employed) already ARE working hard. Many of them can't afford a "good" education because their hard-earned money barely pays the bills and puts food on the table.
Not so long ago, the only way you were able to get an education was if you were lucky enough to have parents who could read and write, or a teacher in your town. Are you suggesting we go back to those days? You do realize that isn't progress, right? That's moving backward, not forward.
Agreed, the economy sucks. As a result, people must work even harder.I'm glad you said Guy's,,,Cause I'm a Man, a worker, a parent of someone Prob, around your age, I have what you call experience, and in Today's age a Lot of collage Brainiacks, are really having trouble finding jobs, Going into great debt, only to find out there going to have to take something much lower in pay than they realized? It all depends, I wish you luck and everyone, But a great education, does not = a Great Job, It's all up 2 You, and how much your willing to risk on yourself to become happy and sucsessful.
Tell that to the guy who had his job outsourced and now woks for $ 7.85 at Mcdonalds, Walmart or for that fact any fast food job or retail job.there is no incentive to do a good job like capitalism
I have a staff of 6 people that I manage, all are college educated w/ degrees in computer programming, phychology etc.You can work in the day and go to school at night. You can work at night and go to school in the day. Work and go to school online. You can work 2 part time jobs and go to school part time like myself. In short, if you really want something in America you can get it, if you are willing to work hard. Unfortunately, like you said, it is becoming harder and harder to find a job.
And what about the person who is already working 70-80 hours per week JUST TO PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE? Where is that person going to find the time OR MONEY to attend college? You can work in the day and go to school at night. You can work at night and go to school in the day. Work and go to school online. You can work 2 part time jobs and go to school part time like myself. In short, if you really want something in America you can get it, if you are willing to work hard. Obama did not get were he is by working hard.Haha, ok i'll break this brainbuster down. In America, if you really want a good education, you can work hard and get it. Obama is the perfect example of this concept.

You live in Obamas America. Not mine. Adversity (i.e. poverty) creates character in those that strive to be strong, and debilitates those who consider themselves weak; the trough feeders. There are kids who have to drop out of high school to look after younger siblings, or get jobs to help pay the bills at home. Once you're stuck in a cycle of poverty, it is NEAR impossible to pull yourself out of without a GIANT stroke of luck. LUCK, not hard work. LUCK.
Spoken like someone who has never LIVED in poverty, or even left the suburbs. You live in Obamas America. Not mine. Adversity (i.e. poverty) creates character in those that strive to be strong, and debilitates those who consider themselves weak; the trough feeders.
