re-root bud to take inside for winter ?

Can I take a bud/branch off my best plant and re-root it so that I can keep it going indoors thru the winter untill spring and then cut some clones off it for next year? Is this even possible and what happens when u go from veg to flower then back to veg will this effect THC will it make for a better or worst plant.

You should have taken clones before the plant flowered.

If you want to re-veg, then just harvest 1/3 of the plant and leave the rest intact.
