I would just like to note to all the brain-less...You can't reveg it if you have chopped off all/most of the fan leaves...you need a few obviously

Hey folks!

So I am a few days away from finishing a grow with 2 plants I would DEFINITELY like to keep! I just have a few questions to assure the best possible success.

1) I grew the girls under a 150 watt HPS light their whole lives. Should I re-veg under the same light, use CFLs with a more blue-toned spectrum and 12-12 with the HPS, or set them outside to gather the natural sunlight until they're ready for Round Two?

2) Would it be alright to use a heavy Nitrogen infused soil (20-10-10) or should I stick to liquid fertilizer?

3) If liquid fertilizer is better, should I stick with the typical dosage 1/2 strength dose of fertilizer I have been giving them their whole lives (but using Veg fertilizer instead of Flower, of course) or should I be giving them full strength Veg fertilizer from Day 1?

You can Veg With The HPS... But you should try to invest in atleast a T5... It will do you really good

You can use the Soil, no harm. Or you could use the Ferts, No harm. It's up to you, but if you decide to go with Ferts, don't transplant intill you see growth. You shouldn't transplant and feed, and they should be eating regulary. The 1/4 strength is ideal... Intill it starts growing again.

If you choose soil, you can feed water right after you trim the root ball and transplant... They'd like that alot

Thanks for the feedback Fenian Brotherhood. After reading through this thread I decided to trim and transplant into new soil (a 50-50 mix of fertilized soil and plain perlite, so 10-5-5) and continue them under the HPS light indoors on an 18/6 schedule until they produce new growth. I gave them a serious watering right after transplant (which I'm not sure was a good move. I hope it was.) and now I'm just letting them go and hoping for the best. As long as even one survives, I'm happy.

I had something odd happen to me this year.....I finished a grow the ned of April. I have a very large property here and I just dig a hole with the front end loader on my Mahindra Tractor and fill it in with my waste materiels from my grows. I was mowing/bush hogging the field the other day. I drove past the area where my pit was where I dumped the rootballs and waste from the last grow in April and low and behold...... 4 of the 18 rootballs thrown in there have revegged themselves and are taking off like bushes. They were stripped and had no noticeable growth BUT.....I always lolipop everything and all those growth nodes where you continually trim the new growth from during the flower period when you lolipop your plant bases, I guess that made fertile sites for the regrowth. I am going to leave them go and see what happens. Kinda cool. I have been doing this for many many years and have never seen this happen before. I also threw a bunch of chicken shit in the hole too. I always do this so when it breaks down and sort of composts it has good nitrates......AGAIN I do this always and this has never happened before. Just an odd funny occurance.......

Can't be done. Autos Flower Due To Age, Not Light Scedual... So the Only Way You Can Re-Veg Is With a Photo Period Plant.

Thanks For Playing!! Welcome To RIU

Here is some old pics of plants i re-vegged then re-re-vegged (Pic) link in my sig has both grows rubbermaid grow was first re-veg. It was during the beginning of my growing days and had no other way of getting seeds/clones so I got some from a buddy who just harvested. I didnt have any hermie sacks as well as the potency was just as good even after 3 harvests.

I can only imagine what a re re vegged plant looks lieke..... And I can only imagine the profession of the guy who asked if you can reveg a royal dwarf auto auto...we've been infiltrated lol

How long does it typically take a plant to flower from start of 12-12 to harvest? Is it equal to, lesser than, or greater than the time it took from start to finish from the first go around?

(In this case, I'm going on the assumption that the original veg period AND the reveg period happened for the same number of days.)

It depends how long you reveg for... Here's a quick fun vid I made on restriking a clone.
