It's not the 10/gram that's ridiculous, it is the fact they say all plants are worth at least £1,000 each, you may have 9 plants under a 600w HPS10/gram is not ridiculous, it's the street price in NL, UK, DE, pretty much all of western EU except Spain. Can be even (much) higher for what you'd call "quads". Even in the coffee shops in NL you can buy weed for much more than that per gram.
Ofc. it's not the price when you sell 100g or 500g or by the kilos.
Fucking hell! Its crazy but very good info there mateI have been floating around the forums for the last 12 years and have seen endless members come and go.
I think it's safe to say, every grow forum is watched by an online crime force, they collect information to identify you.
Just a few things to think about next time you upload pictures and say it's your birthday.
Most growers say where they live, for example, I live in the UK, could even say the southeast, not a problem because it is still millions to one.
Never give out your dob. (I use a fake one)
365(days) x 60(years) = 29,100 (between 20 and 80)
In a room of 30,000, they can narrow you down to one person
If they know your sex that's 1 in 60,000 people
Pictures, I have seen pictures of tattoos on the forums, no two tattoos are the same, may look similar but they can give you away if they are recognized by the wrong person or your Facebook account, there is software that could match up tattoos.
Showing clear pictures of your hands (fingerprint) would give you away if the police have you on record.
Pictures that show a reflection of you, don't have to be clear, their software for that.
Just hope this will help to keep growers safe online.
I was gonna say...for an uber paranoid OP posting what not to do...removing exif data from photos would be somewhere around #2 on my list.Posting pics with the location on, or not removing exif data.
It has always occured to me that high humidity regions like the Southeast would be the target for smaller grows.Man, I talked to my rep at AirROS about this. The smallest unit they make is still gonna be about $3000, and it's the sensor that drives the cost up so much because they use the same sensor (that reads down to PPB (with a B) on all of thier units. He did want me to ask some of you guys if you'd be willing to pay that much. They mostly cater to the commercial side, but are trying to figure out how to make these more affordable for the home grower.... it's just that damn sensor that costs so much. It's like a 1/3rd of the cost of the whole unit.... and you have to replace it once a year at $895, a chamber twice a year at $140 each, and filter twice a year at $100... It was worth it to me, cuz I lost my ass on a crop due to mold a couple of years ago. My unit was like $6300, but I lost a hell of a lot more than that due to mold, and failing the labs.
Its that obvious ?Someone took the last donut.
"Cannabis factory". The lulz. It's not the 10/gram that's ridiculous, it is the fact they say all plants are worth at least £1,000 each, you may have 9 plants under a 600w HPS
you're never pulling 30 oz's, can't happen, you might pull 14 oz's
They do not play around. The state of the jails will be atrocious too.At least it ain’t Thailand … those fuckers don’t play.
I had to stop sendingmulesI mean tourists
Don’t become involved with drugs of any kind here. Possession of even very small quantities can lead to imprisonment. If you are found guilty of possession of marijuana you could receive a long prison sentence and/or a heavy fine. If you’re found guilty of being in possession of 20 grams of a Class A drug on exiting Thailand you risk receiving the death penalty. Amphetamines and ecstasy are regarded as Class A drugs and possession or trafficking carries the same penalty as heroin. They recently executed a man with around 2 pounds of cannabis.
I think that was Singapore, though. They recently executed a man with around 2 pounds of cannabis.
Colonialism. Drugs (especially Opium) was used by the French (and others) for imperialist reasons.I do wander why they are so strict on drugs - what is the reason historically?
It prevents others from attempting to smuggle drugs. If someone needs you to smuggle 2 lbs of pot, are you going to do it knowing it could mean death? No? There you go, it works. They do not play around. The state of the jails will be atrocious too.

There are so many stories of unlucky people for have been caught with class A's on them - decades in a really shitty prison. Where can that be worth it?I think that was Singapore, though.
I'm not a traveller anyway, but none of these countries would be high on my list of destinations if I was one. That's from somebody who doesn't even use illegal drugs.
But people do do it, right? I cannot understand accepting the massive risk, unless the reward is HUGE too - somehow, I cant see that.It prevents others from attempting to smuggle drugs. … some ladyboy threw him under bus probablyI think that was Singapore, though.

I did not know that - thanks @ComputerSaysNoColonialism. Drugs (especially Opium) was used by the French (and others) for imperialist reasons.
