So I’m going on a trip I’ll be gone for 5 days. I’ve got an automated watering system setup so that’s not the issue but the issue I do have is my nutrient solution climbs in ph in about 8 hours of time. Is there anyway I can stop these rises in the ph? Or atleast slow it down. Any input would be helpful thanks !
 
I was going to suggest adding or removing, a mixing pump would be better then air. How much is it climbing? I’m assuming it never levels off, what nutrients?
 
I find that if I run an air stone in the bulk fertilizer tank my pH drops. Without the air on the pH doesn’t move. My thinking is that its the CO2 in the air reacting with the water to form carbonic acid. You might want to test that out on your system. I’d be interested.

My nutrient pH constantly rises despite running an air stone.

I'd get rid of the B52. Essentially how much of a rise are you seeing? You should see a large rise 24 hours after mixing after that you should see a slow rise over the life of the reservoir. You never mentioned how you're growing, just blumats so I'm assuming it's coco or possibly soil

If coco make sure your reservoir measures 5.6 after 24 hours of sitting after mixing and unless you're getting wild swings you should be fine. You're not going to get massive issues if they are short a couple days from pH lockout. With soil I'd take it to 5.8 the day after for the 5 days but I'm less sure since I grow solely hydro. Again a couple days of lockout is no big deal

It's always best to aerate your water, stagnant water isn't great. Air stones are ok but mixing pumps and waterfalls are better.
