Hey guys, what do you think? Ive got a height restriction of about 4ft, do these girls look mature enough to go into flower? There exactly 4 weeks old

if you want it around 4ft...Id give her a cpl more wks before flip..of course this depends on lights, nutes etc

If you have a 4ft restriction I would advise flowering now.......those plants will easily hit 3ft in no time........

Yh as i learned from last time when.using hps i have to at least leave them abit of room i just cant remeber how long i vegged for last time... im using 3 x 600w so stretching wont be a problem,.i was just wondering if my plants look developed enough as i hear theres a threshold they need to pass before they can be properly flowered!!!

Yh 4ft in total.. my last grow the plants grew up to the hps and i had to move the plants to the side after about 3 weeks of flower, but i cant remember if i did a longer veg

those will hit 2ft easy. maybe 30".
you could always top them soon, give a few days to recover, and then flip to 12/12. more of a bush vs a tree.

I have already topped them, thats how ive managed to keep them so short so far but the two branches are really taking off now.. yes well i think i might put them into darkness for 36 hours tomorrow and get the flower under way!!!

good call. and a 24 to 30 inch tall plant is almost perfect for a 600. will penetrate all the way to the bottom for nice buds from top to bottom.

Yes ive always favoured 600 hps.. they are a little more expensive to run but there an excellent light and heat source.. where i grow it gets very cold this time of year so 3 x 600 w help me keep optimal temps, and you cant put a price on quality smoke lol

Why the dark period? Did someone tell you to do that, thats just silly talk lol. Seriously I dont think a plant appreciates darkness in its formidable years. IMO it just wastes time for no gain.

Nobody told me to do it, its something ive dòne twice before with better results than when i just switch to 12 12, i have no doubt in my mind it induces flowering faster as both times ive done it the past my girls have always shown there first pistons within a week, were as the times ive switched to 12 12 off the bat its taken around 2 weeks.. so wether or not its fact or fiction its what works for me, i find the dark period when growing plants to be a time of revitalitsion, and everytime ive switched the lights back on after 36 hours of dark my girls always look so much better as you will soon see when i update the post... for me the proof is in the pudding, im sure we could both find articles of the pros and cons of what im doing but ultimately its what works best for me, tried and tested.
