Ready for 2nd light yet

There under a 600 watt hps and I have another 600 watt hps not being used. If I was to put the 2nd hps in my tent now and increase distance my heat issues should stop right??

The light I’d say is half a metre above the plants but I thought a second light might help em grow faster aswell.
