Ready or not

Hello I’m a first time grower. I was wondering everyone’s thoughts on her. Is she ready for harvest or not yet. She is a East Coast Sour Diesel and she was switched to flower on Aug 24th. So that puts her around 74 days at flower. Thanks in advance for any help

Ok thanks Minty should I be flushing? I’ve started Monday of this week every other day 2X the normal amount of just PH water @6.5
I was told to do 2 weeks before harvest.

Welcome to RIU. I would say a couple weeks left. I don't flush, just taper off nutes until done. Last couple weeks is when plant does the most bulking up and is no time to be starving it. Flushing is for removing salt build ups from your medium, it is not necessary for the plants themselves. It is a highly debated subject.

1 week at the very least. Longer based on preference

I’ve also ready a lot of articles on this topic as well. I guess it’s personal preference when it comes to flushing or not. Thanks for the info

No worries. I think it is more broscience as they call it. They did it for years so people keep doing it. Most of the studies I see are from nute companies that are selling flushing products so I don't have any faith in them. Most scientific articles say it has no real benefits. That said it is to big a subject for me to solve so I say if you want do it than go for it. They are your plants so if you are happy, that's all that matters. Hope they turn out amazing for you bud, it's a great hobby, nice to see a new gardner come along. Happy Growing :)

These are helpful for new folks as well.

Any time. Those buds look nice and frosty, nice job.
Thank you I’ve recently bought a SF4000 for my next grow on some autos. I’m very happy with this flower at this point. 1st time grower with lower than budget led’s and this is what I got. I can’t wait for next round under the new SF4000 if this is what lower end budget lights did.

I like the excitement, that's awesome. I did my first plant under crappy Amazon lights and was surprised to get 3.5 oz of cured bud when I was done. I didn't realize how bad my lights were until I moved up to a new one. It is amazing what can be done with bad lights really.20200521_195049 - Copy.jpg20200521_202815 - Copy.jpg

When I went to and MH/HPS light I ended up with one plant that was huge. I recently upgraded again to LED to fix some heat issues so am looking forward to seeing what an HLG 600 Rspec with UV attachment does. This is what happened when I switched up my light to to MH/HPS light, it's one plant in a 5x5 tent. The first 2 pics are my first plant under cheap light and than the last pic is my last plant when it had 6 weeks to go. I changed to a 4x4 tent to use with my new LED as I am only allowed 4 plants legally. The size difference amazed me.
