pics wouldnt help b/c u cant tell if its done based on looks or how large colas are and i dont have a microscope cam so no
1.You lose a GREAT AMOUNT in yield when you chop too early and "think" all the trichs are cloudy.
2. It's not that hard to take a picture with your microscope dude, just put the camera lense up to the microscope and boom you have a microscope camera. Check out my first outdoor grow journal, my first post has a pic with the microscope that I took with my cell cam.
3. YES it does help to look at the plant itself to help you tell when it's done. You can't be so technical dude. I'm not sayin you still don't look at the trichs, but you need to wait til at least a few are amber to make sure they're ALL cloudy. When you chop it when you "think" all the trichs are cloudy, you will get a crappy worthless buzz that doesn't last. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE, I've done it a few times before.
Please take my words into consideration. I have a plant right now that I was going to chop a week ago because I thought the same thing as you but the hair were still mostly white. Now a week later the trichome production has increased two-fold and the buds look 3 times as frosty and getting frostier by the day. I'm so glad I waited!
