Ready to Flower..need some pointers please.

Ok, well my three babies are ready to Flower.

I know to move to a 12/12 light schedule under my 600 watt HPS, which was 18/6 during veg...

Questions.

1. Should I maintain the same distance from the HPS?
2. What type of watering schedule am I looking at now?
3. I assume I should stop the grow big and start with the tiger bloom?
4. About 2 weeks in I should be able to see sex, what do I do if I see male? Trash the entire plant?


any other pointers would be greatly appreciated..

yup unless you want loads of seeds i would murder the males
and have you got any pics

yes keep the light there for now.
just use the same water schedualle as you have now.
swap to the tiger bloom.
unless you want any seeds kill the males..

Start with the bloom now and throw the males away when you see them. Or if you want to fuck up your neighbors grow plant him outside a quarter mile from his females.

Kill all male's torch their asses and stump on them and then roll all over them.

that's pretty radical...but if it floats your boat then by all means. I just throw them away in the mulch pile.

yeah how tall is your plants? most people wait till they are at least a ft tall. and read up on molasses. i use syrup instead of molasses and i add two tablespoons in a two liter bottle and fill it up and water with that. last grow i did that and the first time i did it within two days of watering them almost all the buds on the plant doubled in size

1) Yes, maintain the same distance.. I keep mine about 12-14 inches away from my 250 watt HPS...
2) I notice the soil drying out quicker in between waterings.. In Veg, i watered every 5 days like clock work... In flowering, the schedule doesn't seem as stable... I've gone 5 days, and also went 2 days and they needed water... Misting the soil daily seems to help out quite a bit...
3) Absolutely.. start w/ half to quarter strength...
4) Yes, if not sooner... Cut all fan leaves off males, and pitch the stalk... save the leaves to make some cannabutter or something...

Be prepared... They will grow A LOT in the first week... They can double or triple in size by the time it's all said and done, so make sure you've got the head room...

Don't pull too early, make sure you're 100% sure... It was pretty obvious once they starting showing for me atleast... didn't need a microscope or anything... Once you're sure, pull them out of the room, cut all the fan leaves off and dispose of the rest of the plant however you'd like... Dry the leaves in a brown paper bag...
