ready to harvest?

The best advice given to me about harvesting is to buy a jeweler magnifying glass/piece. Going off of posted pics, breeder's flower guide, and other's visual cues is a waste of time IMO. Spend the $10 and check yourself. It will also train you and get you better to know your OWN plants. Isn't it more rewarding doing it yourself and learning then being told? #selfsufficient

wondering if this is ready to harvest? just started flushing though.
I think those pics are of the buds close up if I'm not mistaken. If that is the case, no offense but the pics they are too blurry to tell if they are getting cloudy (hence the jeweler scope). What I do see is some of them starting to cloud up. My question to you is how far along are they?

Im with PI.. pics look like some sugar leaves.. I dont even bother with trichs anymore but when I did I felt it was best to look at the trichomes on the swollen calyxes..

Once the majority of calyxes are looking like popped popcorn.. its time to come down

Count start of flower from when you start seeibg flowers.

Also sometimes based on how different your setup is from the breeder you may need an additional week.

My first few grows i harvested too early now you can see the trichs get bigger and whiter just by eye.

What that is is a USB microscope I used which is supposed to be better than a jewellers scope.
It might be zooomed in too much as well.
I spent the 50$ and bought a USB microscope people were talking about.
I just don’t know what I’m looking for. Everyone has been told what to do and look for at one point in time. Just starting out.

They look good! The scope is just a tool, like many other things with this hobby. If you have NO idea what to look for and this is a newer grow, I would look at the trich's on the buds. They will turn from clear- almost plastic looking to translucent (milky white), to an amber. At some point from milky to amber is when MOST people chop. Again that all depends on the 'feeling' you are seeking. A lot of things can effect when or how long it can take. Strain, genetics, light, watering... you may chop anywhere between 7weeks (usually too early) and I've seen some plants go 11-12 wks... Worse case scenario as you are in day 44, even if you cut that whole thing down today I'm sure it'd work, just not as good as if you waited for that 'right' time. Breeder suggested time is just that a suggestion. I've been running Blue Berry YumYum (7-8wk strain) and been finishing around 8.5/9wks to give you an idea...
Hope this helped a little...

Is it supposed to be less than 7 weeks for a auto flower? Thanks for all the info bro! Really appreciate it!

I'll be honest to say I have never played with autoflower at all, so I won't be of any help on that matter my man. Sorry brah. Everything I've read about auto's leans towards the high 40's into the 60 day flower mark. Veg is a lot shorter in my readings, most of the plants life is spent in flower...If you're unsure chop a branch or bud and test, that's my best advice other then checking everyday... GL

It can be a real exercise in patience! New growers *always* harvest too early. Here is a good rule of thumb for the beginner:

When you think it's ready, wait one more week!
So true! Before I started this endeavor I read this exact quote, but still jumped the gun my first couple runs... This is the BEST advice. Just like Guns N' Roses said, "All's you need is just a little patience..."

lol flush your plants let them turn yellow...budz will get tight. hairs turn colour. They pump out resin.
Get a magnifying glass if thc glands are amber pull them hang them to dry...smoke a sample. Jar them...open jars to air for a couple weeks. Wait another month...fine ass weed to smoke.
