I would say maybe two cups of soil difference at the most. I don't see that changing the results very much or effecting the outcome of branching? Whats your take on thatinteresting, are those containers the same size? the one on the right looks a bit larger to me.
It may slightly skew results by not bring a 100 percent accurate test, but it was never intended.
I just topped the plants different and this is the results.
They are the same strain and Yet to be sexed. We will see.

The only problem is my two clones are having an experiment of its own. The left pot is castings and a local organic potting soil. The right pot is the same mix top dressed with blood meal and with bone meal in thee bottom of the pot.I went above the third node, leaving three nodes intact just to make sure you get what I'm saying.
