realistic or not??? guerilla grow

im starting my first grow ever. its going to be an outdoor guerilla grow pretty deep into some south floridian woods. i picked out a pretty good spot with of human encounter almost impossible.
i plan to build a standalone rain harvester and use that as my water source. it will catch roughly about 13 gal of water every inch of rain so watering the plants will not be a problem.

now for the situation..
i plan to dig 5 gal holes in the ground and fill it with soil. i wont use containers because i want the plants root systems to go pass the 5 gal of soil and onto earth soil.
it is my first grow but i do know about watering, sun, prunning and such. i have chosen some seeds which are known for big yeilds such as goo, green crack, sunk#1 and blueberry skunk#1.
i plant to make a few of them monsters by topping the hell out of them.

do you guys think it will be possible to grow about 1 pound of grade A per plant?
also how do i know how much fert is to much or to little?

i can tell you...not your first time...if ever...

its definitely possible, kinda depends how long you can veg for b4 the days get shorter. veg for like 4 months. it'll happen with the right care

Not quite the same, even more for Florida ... I been there many times and almost moved there. But for me, in my area - I jumped the gun and planted in Feb. I had some "runt" plants and did not think they would live. So I stuck them under the sun. Come July they where pushing near 7 foot tall. Plant it out, dont jump the gun, read weather patterns. I been in Disney World and it was fucking snowing. So ....... Plan, Plan, Plan.

I cant remeber where I read it or what site. But some guy guerilla 100 plants each on 3 far away areas. So a total of 300 plants. It all can be done as long as you plan!!

trust me ive been planning almost every. i plan to sow 20 fem seeds and just so i dont bring my hopes up expect 5 to not make it. come spring time i will start posting ad let you guys know how its going.

Why not go out there now and start planning, digging, getting it all ready to go so come the right time your already to go!

I second preparing now or even in december that way you will be less likely to run into anyone near your patch. Keep an eye out for hunters tho it is hunting season in about two weeks. Opening day for dove season is going to rock this year! Cant wait! Anyways imo get as much done this winter as possible. Good luck fellow floridian!

Its def. possible to get 1lb per plant outside at least for someone who has some experience, however theres 1 common mistake new growers make. As I said yes you can average 1lb per plant but that is WET weight not the dry weight. You lose ALOT of weight when it dries out, I grow in soil and a plant that yields 1.55 kilo's of weight i get about 230'ish grams (roughly half pound dry/plant).

Another thing, the rain harvester. nice idea and can be "helpful". But I live in central florida and you should know as well as i do its not gonna rain no where near enough to keep that harvester supplied with enough water for the entire season and you should not rely on that cause it will burn you midsummer when you have to water your plants everyday/every other day due to the extreme heat using at least 1 gallon+ of water per plant multiply that by how many plants your gonna grow and how many days you will have to water on average. (tried it a couple years, like i said its nice but with floridas weather past few years not very practical, and trusting it could result in you losing your whole crop.)

So you wont use containers/bags cause they wont root through them? Lmao ever hear of cutting the bottom of bags and slitting the sides? Roots will find their way out....

Asking ppl all day in the forums for these random questions are gonna get ya nothing but multiple answers, right ones and wrong as well. I know your excited, and you wanna know the best way possible to grow your plants. But random forum posts are not gonna provide you with everything you need to know. You need to do reading and watching videos, theres so many books and videos and I know you think you been doing some research but if you did you wouldnt be asking about the nutes and what not. Instead of asking a few questions you think are important, you should ask what are good sources for info, what books to check out what videos are good, etc.. You have a plan obviously, but do more research then ask yourself if thats going to be a good plan (and yes in your head right now your saying it is and that I dont know what im talking about) So your choice do what me and SBW recommends and get the kinda weight your looking for or stick to your plan and try to get what you can. Either way best of luck..

Also keep in mind that the people whom are giving you this advice have a hell of alot more growing experience then you mate, might not sound like we are helping but we really are, take it for what you want, Have a nice day.

One suggestion I will make is fence in your babies. I made this mistake of planting without the fence and skunks and any other animal outside dug my plants up for the bugs/grubs in the freshly bought soil. The bugs will move into you premium soil from the store and so will the animals that have no regard for you plants. They will fuck shit up.
