This question will annoy some of you, cause I'll bet my answer is somewhere here. But honestly Ive searched and searched and I cannot find a clear answer to this.
I want to grow 2 afghan plants in a 700 sq ft, 1 bedroom apartment. For the 3-4 months I am growing, the plants will be in a grow closet in my bedroom (my bed will be in the main living area for now).
I've read a fair amount about carbon scrubbers, but every damn setup ive seen has the duct running up to the ceiling. I cannot cut holes in any walls or parts of the ceiling, cant leave any windows open, etc (I have no access to the outside to vent the air). Everywhere Ive read, ppl say "well thats okay you dont have to vent outside you can vent it into another room". How does that work? where does the duct go? do need a duct, or just a filter? my closet is designed to be air tight (opened a couple times a day).
In other words, what would a carbon scrubber system look like if a person wants to grow in an apartment tha has no access to the outside (ventilation-wise)?
I just find that if this system requires a massive hole in the ceiling/wall, its really too limited to be of any value to many apartment growers. Any help would be appreciated!
