Really, could the simple idea solve all of my heat issues?

Ok, so as I stated I have a 4x4x6.7 tent, anyways in this tent I have a 600 Watt HPS light and a 1000 Watt LED SuperNova Enhanced Spectrum. Regardless with this tent it is wicked fucking hot when the HPS is on (96-100 degrees Fahrenheit) so lol needless to say it has never "fully" been on. I test it, try to expel heat, cry, repeat. Due to my situation I cant modify anything within this house. So last night while high as hell it hit me....................

Why do I need the tent?

Can this simply concept actually allow me to grow and not have heat problems?

Check it out! I have drawn a diagram long ago! Anyways if I take off tent I can put some osciallting fans towards the back of the room. the ambient room temperature would not go up so much (way more room for heat to disperse)room - Copy.png

I don't see why it wouldn't work.

The big problem you might face (same one I did) was getting air into the closet (I assume you already figured a way to expel air out of the closet?) during the dark periods. You don't want ANY light getting in, so it can be tricky.

It will remove heat but a second fan on the air cooled hood (no filter to add resistance) will remove 80-90 percent of the heat from the bulb if your fans are powerful enough.

The only disadvantage I can see is the walls being further away wont reflect the light as well.
Years ago I had a similar situation and built a square frame suspended it from the ceiling and hung mylar on it.

Ha! every time the fans went on it was blowing every where but it worked.

Sounds like good stuff to me.

I've been reading a lot on plant growing stress, and this article just arrived in my email today....

HOw appropriate and good stuff to remember when you're trying to do a new setup. Stress sucks for plants too....
