rec me a grow tent

That's nice and comes complete but not with a cool tube and you're really going to want one in a tent.

HPS lights get really hot and need a lot of air movement. I strongly suggest the cool tube or an air cooled hood.

I agree, my old 150w hps had alot of heat to it. so this 400w hps is making me nervous. Do you have any experience with the light you linked me?

Theres 4 in there? shit i thought i was 2. So how do you run the tubing for the lighting

On my light I use the hood like a vacuum and I have my fan and filter outside of the tent. I have passive air intake that comes in through the vents on the tent.

A cool tube would actually be better and I kinda wish I went that route. With a cool tube you would run filter>hose>light>hose>fan>hose out.

Here's a good example.

That would be a good route to go. Hmm i still gotta debate this more. i need to get situated first and get my tent then go from there

I put a diy area in the adnaced section but here you go again

16, 8' 2x4's - $64

angle braces and hardware- $24

flanges - $22

10'x100' roll of 2sided poly film - $72

Total= 160 bucks. and its sturdier than those crappy tent poles depending on which one you buy

I can take my tent down in minutes if I need to.

No you cant. Power cords, Filters, Lighting equipment, plants, reservoirs, hygrometers ducting, yoyos, and shit take forever to take down. Un slipping poles out canvas takes way longer than ripping poly film and kicking down my frame. Even if it was at what point is it worth the 700 dollars?

My tent cost $70, I didn't even have to leave the house to get it, I don't have to worry about light leaks and it came fully vented and reflective. Yes, it was worth it.

Damn 70 bucks? that might be cool for a veg tent. Is it sturdy though? Ive heard bad things about cheap tents on ebay. I wouldnt care though because id put a t5 in it and there not heavy.
