Hi, Just picked up the technaflora recipe for success kit. I have done 1 vegg feeding so far and plants seen to realy take to it, i mixed it up about 1/2 strength for my 1st feed next one i will go full strength. im staring this thread to try and get peoples thoughs and opinoins on this kit or the technaflora line in general.

what i would like to know:
Have you used this kit, with or without success?
How did you modify it to wok better for you?
Anything from another company that would enhance this kit?

thanks for the help.(otherwise i may turn this into a review for this kit).

Used it on my first to last grow. I like it. Good recipe to tinker around with. You won't fail if you're wondering with this recipe. Always remember to pour the Boost component first into water before doing any other mixing. Mix then PH adjust. You should continue the veg recipe for an extra week or two(to be sure) into bloom or your plants will be starved for N by the fourth/fifth week with this recipe.

good to hear. i am gradualy droping my light time by 1 hour till i hit 12/12 right now i am at 16/8, tomarrow 15/9 and so on. i want to do 2 or 3 more vegg feedings then switching to the flower nutes. i think this should be a good mix. do you still use these nutes or did you switch to something else?

I've been growing bagseed and self pollinated bagseed that were harvested from the first grow which were a typical mixed variety of sativas/indica crosses. Right now these plants are 15 days into this soil since transplant(8 days into bloom) so I really I have no complete report if it is truly better than the kit but I can say the least that these plants are now too monstrous and healthiest I've seen in any of my indoor grwing exp. I have at the most 6' sq of grow space with 7 in 2gal and 1 in a 5 gallon pot. BTW if you're transplanting from veg to flower into NEW soil, don't use the recipe or anything else for first 2 weeks into bloom! If you are using soil namely FFOF with this recipe be sure to add some dolomite lime or soil sweetener into your soil mix and let it set for a month -VERY IMPORTANT. One time I've forgot to add it and all my technaflora-fed plants went haywire from lockouts.

Good to know about the lock out. After I read your post I did a little research on that soil mix and I have to say I am really considering giving it a try. I was also thinkin about doing an advanced nutrients grow. I may do a side by side on all three when I get a strain I want to keep a mother of, so I am only dealing with limited varience. I may be getting a little a head of my abilities there though. I still have a lot to learn.

i have used it with success, i too noticed the N diffeciency late in flower, I actually just feed them with more N to green them up.

I use it too with great success. And thanks for the additional tips my plants yellow out early too. It was cheap and it has grown out 6 plants for me so far and plenty left. The magical and sugar daddy are running out first so I may buy a couple more bottles. I think I want to try Advanced Nutes next to see how well it really does with pH. It would be nice not having to worry about pH. Advanced has a kit too but much more expensive than Recipe for Success.

I have not seen their(AN) kit, but that sounds neat. Their entire product line is expensive. I thought about switching to humboldt's line. apprently made from someone from AN, but cheaper.

i think you still have to buy your base seperatley and each kit comes with diferent nutes and additives. no sure if im right i priced out the euivalent to the recipe for sucess and it would be like 280 dollars.
