recirculating dwc question?

hi everyone my second grow first hydroponics I sucked at soil didn't really work out spent more money there than buying a nice hydroponics setup anyways got the tent lights etc but my question is would a 120 gph WalMart or home depot submergible pond pump be efficient enough for 6/8 5gallon bucket using a 30 gallon tote outside of tent with multiple air pump since already have and just the one watterpump if someone would chime in I'd appreciate it I know should buy the high dollar pump but trying to save money hints the growing my own I spend way to much monthly that could be used for family interests not my hobby/meds

Cheap pumps wont hurt ya just don't let them run dry and buy 2 if you can that way you got it when you need it ie 2 in the mornin

happened with a timer went bad from brinks at that never would have guessed usally fine with 400 light but screwed me not having one better or equivalent on hand so that having a back up is a great peace of advice
