Found this while reading leafly reviews on Harvest, it's pretty sad:
I found a SEED in my Pineapple Express! Not enough strains testing over 20%. Low end products at high end prices. Most area dispensaries have special offers for first time patients. Check around to see who has the best such offer, and start there first, unless you are looking for a specific product which is only carried at one local place.
The one time I tried Harvest of Tempe, the product did not feel dry enough (if true, that means part of the weight cost was simply water).

Yeah, I have yet to find a dispensary that has solid flowers for the most part. Sure I've found a strain or two that were very much liked and looked to be grown well (i.e. Big White at Bloom, Romulan Kush at Encanto Green Cross). But the majority of flowers I've received from dispensaries have ranged from okay outdoor bud to poorly grown indoor. Plus I haven't found a bud consistency that suggests that these dispensaries are curing their flowers, or even drying them appropriately.
I can only vouch for and not recommend these dispensaries from personal experience: Bloom, Emerald Palace, Encanto Green Cross, Health for Life Mesa North, and The Giving Tree Wellness Center of Mesa. Of all of these, at least Encanto Green Cross has 3 days a week where all their meds are $10 a gram ($11 roughly after taxes). Cheap, sub-par bud is better than getting fleeced for $20 a gram of doodoo.

Harvest of tempe is one of the worst in PHX...along with bloom.

Big white and romulan kush aren't even legit stains....lmfao....go AZ!!!!
At least in flag we got high mountain health and greenhouse of flagstaff..of whom I don't mind paying the higher price when in need.

Yea they seriously told a guy that seeds are to be expected, I couldn't believe what I was reading when I saw that.
Unfortunately I'm nowhere near Flagstaff, I'll only be able to try those out when I go camping up north.
An AZ dispensary review sticky would be awesome, I'd like to hear reviews from people who know good smoke, leafly is full of people who don't know what quality meds are.
I'll just keep an eye out for a farmers market or something.

I just paid a visit to Valley of the Sun and AZ Cannabis Society.
I am currently smoking on some Blueberry Headband from Valley of the Sun. Plenty of their strains looked rather frosty, but the terpene profiles weren't popping on most. This strain had some noticeable odor. Major knock on it before I even smoked though. Picked up an eighth that weighed 3.45 on my scale...no biggie, but after finishing up the trim job for them (I smoke flower, not leaf), my eighth weighed a paltry 2.6 g. At least the ash is gray and the smoke smooth. Not overly flavorful...
I'll update when I've got a proper session in with all flavors sampled from both dispensaries. I will say that on initial view, the budtender at ACS looked much nicer than any of the strains they offered, lol.

Ok this is my forte.... go to Urban green house they have fire. im an og man so there og is legit but has a few seeds every once in a while i called them they were willing to trade it back out but i liked it so much i didn't give a fuck, prices are are pretty legit compared to most. Herbal Wellness Center is BOMB. the best weed ive had in az comes from this place its called BELLADONA its legit flame place can be a bit pricey. True Med it also pretty good with a few top shelf meds a lil pricey too but its good for sure. DO NOT GO TO Arizona Natural Selections there weed looks amazing is tested but it all smells Horrible to the point where u wont smoke it. its a crazy smell smells like plastic, and dusty peppers just nasty. i bout a sack of White Fire OG got a free gram of it as well when i opened it both packs smelled disgusting. I brought it back they could not take it back so the manager who was awesome gave me another sack for free some Candy Kush it looked so covered in frost, but again when i opened it, it smelled so bad just like the other....

I kind of thought the same thing, but didn't want to stir the pot. There are so many breeders and closet growers chucking pollen that it seems impossible to decipher a "legit" strain from a pretender. The proof is always in the pudding though. I trust my taste buds, my sense of smell, and the way I feel after I've medicated. Call a rose by any other name, and it's still just as beautiful...if it's grown well.

Who knows. No one meant offense here in my mind. The offense are the buds and their accompanying high prices at many dispensaries.
I pay attention to s33d banks and their offerings way too closely. I'm not saying the Big White I got from Bloom is this strain, I'm just pointing out that some breeder is slinging it.

I don't know if being listed at a bank is accomplishment enough to qualify as a legitimate strain. I know I wouldn't touch it because Big Bud genetics do not entice me. But who knows? Maybe she's a beast.

Quick update on buds from AZ Cannabis Society.
I just found a bean in the Blueberry gram I got. On top of that, this bud has very little flavor. Not quite like smoking grass or leaf, but not much more than that. Okay high.
I got about five sampler grams, as I like variety. They had a Kritical Bilbo strain the budtender recommended, and it definitely packs a punch. The Jack Herer looks great and has a floral flavor to me with a nice, invigorating high. The Platinum OG had a good flavor, earthy with a hint of something I can't put my finger on. Similar to a Platinum Kush I had back in the day from Garden of Eden. Small, unappealing buds, but smoke is smooth.The last, Purple Krytonite, is along the lines of the Blueberry I describe. Not special at all.
Overall, 3 of the 5 strains were desirable. Let it be known that these were not their "top shelf" as they didn't offer those in their 2 for 22 special.

Dude thanks for the reviews, you rock. I'm curious, how developed was that seed you found and did you say anything or just forget about it? I'm interested to know if they pull a Harvest of Tempe on you and say seeds should be expected lol. Platinum kush sounds nice, love that earthy flavor.

Swaggers thanks for the feed back our OG did get stressed when we were watering so there were some seeds found, we took everything back to reprocess and that problem should now be cleared. Although I am very pleased with the seeds I recovered they look great, will be putting them to use! Just a heads up this weekend we have a BOGO going on my Mastadon and Bubblegum! I can get you guys a half ounce out the door for $120! Trying to set the bar high here in AZ, come down to URBAN GREENHOUSE ask for me if you guys come in ill make sure to take care of you, my names Chris!

Sometimes I get weed that is so good I HOPE I find a seed. I rarely do but I have gotten some good genetics going from seeds from various Dispensaries over the past 6 months.
I consider that bud as coming with a free Cultivation kit. But then again, im old and grew up in a time where all of our weed had seeds. Don't bug me too much.
