Anything by Ken Burns, Absofuckinglutely!

I like his 'Baseball' and 'Jazz' quite a bit.

'The Untold History of the US' by Oliver Stone. It's not bullshit like his 'JFK', it's one of the finest history docs you'll ever see. Probably his finest hour (or actually 10 hrs.)

It was a 10 part series originally on Showtime covering 1929-2011. Just the old movie news reels alone make it cool.

And I guarantee you'll learn something.
Available on Netflix and YT.

I like history a lot, especially that time period where you have movies of it.

It should be required viewing in public schools.

I'm stuck trimming for the next couple days, and am looking for something interesting ( a doc, movie, whatever ) that I can put on in the background. You guys know anything worth checking out? Gimme a shout.
Yo I've been watching the anime attack on titan. If you haven't watched it yet, it's worth checking out.

This is an intriguing documentary on carnivorous plants and our long time fascination with them (Feed me, Seymour!). Darwin was astounded by them, and studied them quite extensively. The production quality is top notch, and Attenborough's narration is audible chocolate. Once you start watching this one, it'll be difficult to stop. Enjoy!

2 versions, one with subtitles and one with a large screen border. Pick your poison...
