Yeah I talked to them yesterday. They pretty much said fuck you. I explained my loss in appitite everyday, and that I am stressed 24/7 and that weed helps me with tobacco addiction. The lady said, you need to stop smoking tobacco, so you won't be stressed and you can start eating again after you quit. Seriously? Are you stoned? Fuckin bitch just cause I haven't been told I have problems doesn't mean I don't have them!! I eat one meal a day, and I smoke 2 packs a day, the days I do smoke weed, I only smoke half a pack and I can eat breakfast!! Other wise I feel sick as shit when I wake up and can't eat

Boy oh boy ummmmm.... wow... Ok first off I feel ya brother I deal with an eating disorder myself. And yes I smoke cigarettes, maybe a half pack a day and I know nicotine as a stimulant also works as an appetite suppressant so folks don't "give me grief" there please.

Now second of all in this state GOOD LUCK getting a card for an eating disorder. I was shunned for brooching the concept once when I was medically 22 pounds underweight and couldn't get an appetite for the life of me. Exercise to try to jump start my need for caloric intake was my main approach that was mildly effective but mildly is the word. As I continued to lose weight I started to develop pancreatic issues, particular issues with my insulin production mainly. At that point I said "f it!!" I had no card and a job that I could lose if caught using marijuana without a doctors authorization, but I was going to lose it soon anyway due to over extended medical leave. But I had access to one of my favorite strains.... Blueberry from DJ short. Within 90 days I was at the bottom rung of a "healthy" B.M.I. and I didn't have to artificially spike my blood sugar on a daily basis anymore. I still had to from time to time depending on several factors but nowhere near as much. You see with the way eating disorders and the like are covered under Washington state law is hinkey at best. Pretty much it covers eating issues based upon a third problem. Such as wasting syndrome or chemotherapy those are both applicable but being anorexic is more than difficult to qualify under.

Some folks may recommend you embellish another issue, but I honestly can't recommend it. You see a lot of folks look at a Medical Authorization as payday and a lot of the reception staff have to deal with obvious abusers of the system on a practically daily basis. If I was exposed to that on such a level I have a feeling I might be jaded and rather rude sometimes when denying a patient an appointment slot. But that is still no excuse especially from a clinic with such a renowned reputation as Green Wellness. Did you get the name of the receptionist? If so write a letter, not an e-mail but a snail mail polite discouraging the treatment of a possible patient in such a rude and discourteous manner, no matter the personal lifestyle choices you make or not. Tobacco consumption is not grounds to be rude, especially when you are working in a customer service position.

Ok next up with the passing of I-502 is a medical authorization absolutely necessary or just something nice to have?...

If you go to the site it says that Marijuana has been found to be helpful in Chronic Pain... For those that don't know what that means, it is the ticket to getting the card. Everyone can say they have pain and you are the only one that can judge it. They put that statement on there for folks looking for a reason to get it.

Me..I do have Chronic Pain. I am 52 and over my life I have broken about 11 bones. I deserve a card. It would keep me off of opiates and so on. That is the whole idea.

There are certain places that will take you in with no medical records, and give you an exam etc to see if you have the issues you explain.

Check out CannaHealth! (if they're still around) I did have my records, buta buddy of mine got an exam from them and had no issues getting hisr eccomendation! They were VERY friendly to us both and VERY Knowledgeable

I know this is a six-month old thread, but lots of searching led me here. I'm not sure how to define chronic pain, but I've been dealing with collapsed arches in my feet since the age of 10. I'm 30 now, and I've eaten more rapid-release gelcaps than I care to think about. I have gone through my fair share of norco's and other scripts, and hated how I felt through the day and the havoc it wreaked on my body. I work 12 to 16 hour days, and by the time I get home my feet feel like every bone is being pressed in a vice. I've lived here in Washington State for years now, and only recently got around to thinking about getting medical marijuana for my foot pain. At a friend's suggestion (a mmj user), I tried some at the end of a particularly shitty day. It nearly erased my pain for that night. So, any ideas what my odds of getting a recommendation are?
