Recommendation of 6 Strains for a beginner that want to try a bit of everything.

Also I wouldn't advise autos for a first time grow. I don't know why people do. You can control photo periods so much easier. If they look like they're getting too big? Train/prune/top and f you do top or whatever you can then take clones and after they recover you can switch your veg to flower and if you want get a small tent to veg your clones and then you can perpetual that way?

But the dark devil trans Siberian and Colorado im growing I recommend. Ive just used floranova bloom throughout and nothing else and they've been excellent.

I already saw this guide on grow weed easy. My doubt was that from what cindysid said, i understood that the idea was going to keep the same strain butilizador, as dargd1 said, let them veg and flower for longer. my question was why she would want to let them veg and flower for longer? she wasnt satisfeid with the actual time the plant would take to veg/flower?
Posted finish times are based off of averages, The longer you veg the bigger your plants get. You can veg as long as you want before flipping them into flower.

For reference I have 100x100x200 cm so Abit more than 3x3
I have 4 dark Devils 1 nearly done, 2 that are 2 weeks behind it and 1 that is a week behind that. I then have 3 that are another week behind that. So basically 7 plants are various stages and it is CRAMPED. All autos.
The final three are trans Siberian, Colorado cookies and blackberry kush.
Colorado is vigorous and would grow again, trans Siberian too, all was stunted (fan fell on them) but that trans is meant to be an awesome strain. Still at least 7-8 weeks from my final three to be done. First should be done in a week or two.

Just an idea if you want to do autos and what a kind of perpetual grow.
If I hadn't stunted the last three it would be even worse. I think 6 autos is a good amount if you're a new grower due to dialing everything in, your yields won't be incredible.

Im under a 600w HPS too.
I am not really looking to plant autos, maybe one, just to have the experience. I really like the idea of training my plants.

Without any training, is there any positiv point on vegging it for longer?

I started by ordering from the tude, every cannabis cup winner (from anywhere) I could find. this was and still is an awesome experience. Cant go wrong with the chem lines, tga, cali connect, connoisseur gen, dna, reserva prada imo.

I uderstand that you personally never liked them, but shouldn't i atleast try?
About the auto, i was going to skip them, but was thinking to have just one, so i can have my own experience with it, and because is something fast, since i plan to train my other plants.
Thanks for the suggestions. Just need to decide how many of them i am going to plant, since there seems that there is not a definitiv answer whether i should have 2, 6, or 20 plants.
Why? Fast? In what way? The only real reason they are "fast" is that they don't veg much! You can do that with a photo and have real quality THC levels......Auto's will give you around 1 1/2 zips per, some a bit more and others a bit less.

You'd let them veg longer to end up with larger plants and larger yields. Generally speaking for a plant that doubles in height, I'd veg them to half of their desired finish height, flip to 12/12, then watch them stretch.

My last crop I grew in 5 gallon containers. I grew them in veg until they were 15 inches tall, flipped to 12/12 and they stretched to 27 inches.
My next crop I plan to grow in 7 gallon containers...I want to veg them until they are 20 inches tall and hope they stretch to 40 inches tall.

I hope that answered your question.

I've used 3 gallons for several grows, but I don't have an automatic watering system and they are also a hassle to water towards the end of flower. For autos, 3 gal is fine, but in my experience, photos in bigger pots mean bigger yields depending on veg time of course.

I grow both, never let someone tell you it isn't worth the effort. Autos grow great for me. It's either their patients or growing skills that hinder them.

If I don't fly imma die anyway

Keep us up to date as you progress but I would heed the advice of the many here re plant numbers. If you want to train then 6 would be to many as you'll run out of training room. If you do run 6 then yes a very short veg time would be a good thing. Also watch your height and keep in mind the light and the need to stay well under it. With a wing hood I can get away with around 18" but mine are vented to suck heat off the top. My experience with 6 plants is that even with a 4x4 area it's a massive jungle of chaos at the end but I keep doing it lol. The different strain thing will pose issues with some plants blocking others and yup there will be no room to train anything. Good luck!
