Id try dimming to 50% for veg, much easier to make dli limit in 18 hrs over 12, full power for flower though as its harder to light stress in 12 hours. But it does depend on environment too. Imo they look oversaturated, light would be my guess. This only my opinion. Take it as you will. But l dim to half during veg and it helps.Just got sf4000 into new tent and was running full power. Had to raise light a little and turn power down. Is that the reason the stems went red today and leaves are drying up ? Tent is a 4x4
Ok it’s just a sunburn. Need to find my sweet spot with light. ThanksCheck under the leaf petiole,
If the top is red and the bottom is green than its more likely the light. Its just like sunburn on us humans
Try find the balance, just because it's red, it doesn't always mean you should dim or raise it too much. My plants stretch too much when i raise it but if i keep it low/bright thetop of the petiole turns red.
I did dim it to 50 percent and came up couple inches. This light is on steroids compared to old lights and setup. Finally got my temp and humidity under control with the new environment. Something new everyday but I’m getting it dialed in more and more. Would a mist of some water before lights go out hurt or help?Id try dimming to 50% for veg, much easier to make dli limit in 18 hrs over 12, full power for flower though as its harder to light stress in 12 hours. I dont like to spray in flower if l can help it, veg ld say fill your boots and folliar as much as you like. Yes good lights are like old ones on roids plus. I just spent 3 days dimming a new plant into led, will turn up full within a few days of 12x12. Am finding leds much more intense than hids ever could be. Plus the spectrum of leds is way better. Be careful spraying with lights on as water drops can act as magnifier and burn leaves.I did dim it to 50 percent and came up couple inches. Copy that. I appreciate the advice. I’m gonna mist them right before lights go out here in about ten minutes. Start the light at 50 percent and slowly move closer and try to find my sweet spot. Nice to know I have that much extra power for flower later onI dont like to spray in flower if l can help it, veg ld say fill your boots and folliar as much as you like. You definately have enough light. Never had that with hids. Used to keep 1k hps less than 2ft from plants. With leds lm closer but only bc of light rating and not wanting to light up empty space. Every extra foot from light drops intensity by about 4x. Something like that anyways. Once you figure lights out everything will fall into place. Btw l had to rinse a few outdoor plants mid afternoon bc pest spray contained cannola oil, l shook it a few xs a plant but didnt help. Used soap and water and sprayed them hard, only two had oily leaves. Both had no bad reaction. Even though its against the rules l knew what would happen if l didnt spray them down, not first plant lve killed with oily bug spray. Wont be last. Might be now that l know what to watch for, lm a very intense grower. I wish my light had more power than it does but am good with light l have and will master it before buying some light with 2000 plus umols. How do you like the sf4000? Nice light imo.Copy that.
