Stems are red but the main stalk is not, must be a deficiency of sorts, can you diagnose this please?

Its confused me and worried me so I moved the plant away from my other plants..

it's fine guys, it just means that those stems are cold (most likely at night).......... it wont hurt anything........ I find that most the stems closest to the fans get the red stem.

I don't quite understand then.
I grow 3 plants in a container together, there small and other one has this problem..
Is it just "weaker" than the others?

every plant has different genes even if they are the same strain, just like us.........weaker? thats not for me to say, less tolerable to cold seems a better way to put it.

I see, I'm not sure if there all the same strain.
I have TONS of bagseed and out of like.. 25 seeds 5 germinated..
and 3 made it up through the soil..
So yeah, I'll just go with what you said. It makes sense. :)

good luck with the bagseeds man...... I am about half way through smoking my last harvest with bagseeds, and really wish I went the extra mile to get known genetics..... but hey, it's free weed!

there's nothing better..... just don't expect too much.... my girlfriend I think expected too much out of it, cause she says she doesn't get stoned off the shit we grew. but I don't have that issue........I think she just expected too much and the bud will never meet her expectations.

Some strains have more red more than others. My Blueberry turns deep red and even the underside of the leaf veins turn red/pruple.

Wow dudes! The most common reason for red stems is a magnesium deficiency. Have none of you even looked at a mj deficiency chart?

stinkbud. That is one lame post. Blueberry is a specfic pheno type that is known for turning blue, (tahis is why it has it's blueberry name) especially if there is a large drop in night time temperatures. That is age old data Dude. However, if its stems are turning red it is because of a deficiecy of magnesium in relation to a high level of phosphorus not because of its strain or pheno type. Add some Calmag and the deficiency will not exist and the red will not appear Dude.
