It's definitely not a cannabis plant but it would be cool to find out what it is.
you are correcto sir.
after repeated messages with an old buddy of mine, he told me to stop being a pussy and to dig up the soil and be done with the doubt. I did. I found the cannabis seed, smothered to death by this horde of invaders' roots. a single mm below the soil, tap root was 3 times as long as it was in the first pics... it's survival of the fittest out there and my cannabis plant was stuck in this mo' fo's roots. slightly center of this one..... I won't bother posting a pic as the roots, seed and taproot were all covered in black dirt and nothing can really be made out it is all the same color.....
I gently removed it, rinsed it off with water and put it in some more soil and lightly sprayed the top - you never know plants that seem dead sometimes come back....
I am 100% certain my cheap, contaminated soil, alongside burying it way too deep contributed to this..... if my baby had broken ground before this, this, abomination, she would've smothered the invader and lived.....
I have had dud seeds not break soil after seeing the tap root....but this was flat-out murder. and on branded, auto seeds too....
in the vincinity of this dirt pile we find the proverbial garden of eden of potential contamination sources. but I'm going to bet this is some sort of vegetable seed. an uncle has his 'salad garden' in the same farm and I can just see the tossing of leftover seeds in the pile as if they disappeared... that'll bite him in the ass later when he finds invaders all over his shit......
