reflecting light

i was woundering if aluminum foil would be a decent light reflecter, cause i heard from someone that aluminum foil would put holes threw the plant and eventually kill her, anybody else hear this?

Yeah I heard these stories also. Ended up going with Panda film. Best for my setup. The black side really works to divide up a room. The white side does a great reflector of light and easy to keep clean.

It doesn't put "holes" in your plant.
It creates "heat spots" what this means is that at certain points on the foil it will reflect more back at your plant, causing uneven spread of the light, which causes burns on your plant.

You are best using Flat white paint, that is to say if you cannot get hold of any panda film or mylar.
